We absolutely loved our first Airbnb experience! We loved the accommodations Ken provided. He was a super host. We would absolutely come back for more mountain adventures. I highly highly recommend this location. We are hooked.

Ken and his wife were wonderful hosts and the dog of the house is very adorable! My sister and I travelled to North Carina due to a parent being diagnosed with cancer. Not long after our arrival hospice care was ordered. Ken was very patient when plans changed during our stay. The accommodations, although not "fancy" worked very well for our stay. The kitchen and living room in the front have loads of natural light and the bedrooms and bathroom are well lit. The grounds a short distance from the lodger's entrance are not well lit so if you want to take a walk (with or without your dogs) at night, it would be best to bring a small flashlight, especially for "picking up" duties with dogs. The location is within 20-30 minutes of the surrounding towns and the home is surrounded by trees. Once you step out the door there are many relaxing nature sounds that you can't hear inside (cicadas, roosters, birds, etc). It is a very peaceful and private location. I would definitely stay again - hopefully under better circumstances.

It was a fantastic place which was well kept. A serene neighborhood good for a great getaway while being not too far from Atlanta. Ken is a good host and everything was as promised. I would highly recommend Ken and this place.

I was traveling for work and needed little more than a roof over my head. What I ended up with was a full, two bedroom apartment to myself. The location was very convenient to Young Harris College and the host was exceptionally cordial. As someone from a much flatter, urban area driving a rented Chevy Suburban (a very large vehicle), the twisting side roads and hills felt like quite the adventure, but the roads were very drivable. For larger parties, beware that there is ample space for numerous guests but the only sleeping surfaces available at the time of my visit were a pair of day beds. Though I didn't make use of it, the spacious kitchen appeared fully functional. I can easily recommend this space for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with woods and forest without leaving civilization behind.
