In the heart of a village, 8mn north of Dijon by car, this tiny house contains a studio flat (16m2) with a mezzanine/attic bedroom (8m2). Double-bed and king sofa-bed, for up to 4 adults. Bathroom with shower and kitchenette. Wi-fi. Parking in yard.

The space

Built in the 17th century as a smoking house/summer kitchen, this cute little house sits in the yard of a former farm. The original stonework is visible on the outside while a traditional lime coating covers the inside walls. The old beams have been preserved. The inside space is small but well thought and can house comfortably two to four adults. There is a double bed in the attic bedroom and a king sofa-bed downstairs. Heating by oil-filled radiators. Water supply from the well, might be unsuitable to drink. Proper drinkable water is supplied at no charge. Clothes washing/drying possible in the main house (extra charge). Garden at the back. In season, scented roses grow around the house and cherries can be picked (May/June).
In the village you'll find a horse-riding club, a public library, tennis court, soccer pitch and petanque area, as well as a public playground. If you intend to visit Dijon, it is best to park at the tramway terminal (6mn by car) and take the tram, as driving and parking in town can be a challenge. A very large shopping mall (Toison d'Or) is 8mn away.
There is no TV in the house but we provide a PC computer and free WiFi.

We stayed here as a one night stop over travelling south. Ideally situated near Dijon and has everything you need for a cosy sleepover! Daniel and his son were very welcoming and great hosts.

Welcoming check in, small but cosy and nice place to stay for the night. Very little, if any, public transport into Dijon so own transport is a must. Overall a very pleasant stay

Daniel was a great host and the tiny house had everything you could need. Wifi and some books for the kids to read. Double upstairs and sofa downstairs were both really comfortable. 20 minutes drive to Dijon and Daniel even gave us directions on where to park and go for a bite to eat. I will definitely be booking again.

It is small and a work in progress. The fold out couch was comfortable to sleep on as the loft above was too hot. Clean and the kitchen had all you needed. The owner was friendly and offered his own coffee machine and kitchen if you needed it. Wifi connection was fair. Easy access by car to Dijon and the big shopping centre there. Overall good value if you want to stay outside the city.
