We stayed here with our 9 month old baby and had a really lovely time - the house and location were ideal, with lots of gorgeous walks right on your doorstep and a big garden with a nice lawn and pool, plus a boulangerie and restaurant a short walk away. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need, which we appreciated as we did lots of eating in. The beds are comfortable and we all slept very well. Mark and Sylvie were so helpful and welcoming, providing a lovely travel cot and bread, jam milk and a home baked apple tart on our arrival! Sylvie also drove us to and from the wedding we were attending nearby. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay in Marks home. 8 of us were going to a wedding at Chateau de Quielle and it was a 10minute drive away. It's located in a lovely quiet village called Leran. Mark was not around but he had a housekeeper called Sylvie who we met. She was wonderful and extremely helpful and even made us a delicious Apple strudel! Thank you Sylvie! The house was larger than I was expecting. There's a fantastic dining area and sitting room, with a TV and DVDs, a playstation and there's also a Vinyl player with some great discs! The shower room and bathroom must have been recently done up as they were in fantastic condition. the beds were comfy and there was a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer we could use. Sadly it wasn't hot enough to jump in the swimming pool. There's also a restaurant a 2min walk away called Au Rendez vous. It's extremely english and we ate there one night and I don't think I hear a single French person, which was quite funny. They served Chilli Con Carne, so not your typical french restaurant but it was great! Mark and Sylvie thank you so much again for all of your hospitality!

We spent five days at Mark's house and absolutely loved it! The house is spacious, bright, beautifully decorated and impeccable. Plus it is child-friendly with a big yard. We did two day trips (Carcassone and Foix) and were very happy to return to the house and cool off in the swimming pool. Mark was an excellent host, very attentive to our needs and outstanding in terms of communication. We did not meet in person but he organized things from a distance with his housekeeper Sylvie who was very helpful and who came to personally greet us with delicious pastries. C'est la classe! We hope to return soon.

We had a lovely time at Mark's house. It's a beautiful building in a lovely village, with a great restaurant just a short walk away. Mark's friend Sylvie was very polite and helpful in looking after us and making sure we had anything we needed. Would love to come back.

We have just returned from staying at this beautiful home in Leran. I stayed there for a long weekend with my family, and a family friend, as we were going to a wedding at Chateau de Queille. The place has a traditional French feeling about it. Leran is quiet but quaint which was well fitted for the occasion. We ate at the only restaurant in town Le Rendez-vous which was excellent, and had a community atmosphere to it whilst watching the rugby and drinking lots of red wine. The home had everything that we needed - wifi, hot showers, cards, towels, clean linen, pool, sun name it. We stuffed ourselves with tasty food and wine, and even used the BBQ, whilst sitting outside in the patio area. The weekend was perfect and we had no problems or complaints. The wedding was magical. Mark was so helpful and thoughful before, during and after our stay here, and always responded to any questions I had. He even arranged for his housekeeper Sylvie and her partner to take us to / from the wedding, which was so kind of them. We managed to squeeze in a trip to Mirepoix on our last day for some lunch which was just wonderful. If you are looking for somewhere to escape to that has a quiet, traditional and relaxed atmosphere then this is the place for you. I would definately recommend this home / place to a friend. Thank you Mark & the housekeeper Sylvie.
