Thank you patty we had a wonderful stay. Our 4yo daughter also loved her stay with the goats - patting and playing with them were highlight of her trip to Sonoma. Your wonderful tour and cheese were a highlight also.

We had a wonderful weekend at Patty's farm with our 4 year old. Everything from her communication from before checking in where she called to make sure I had all the information for checking in to a flexible check out was perfect. The cabin is exactly as described, small but perf…

The goats and chickens are fun to see. Patty seems like a nice person. The place is really small. Be prepared to go out for meals since preparing any sort of food is too difficult. The bed is fine but the futon is really uncomfortable. The road up to the farm flooded out on our s…

The farm is very quite and great to relax. Goats, chickens, ducks and other baby animals is truly what captivates the people, they are sweet and loving with the visitors. The bedroom & bathroom need more cleaning, spider webs are around because they do not use the vacuum on regul…

Jaqueline, in fact the sheets are changed between each guest. We do not use a dryer but hang them on a clothes line unless weather makes that impossible and don't iron them so yes, they are wrinkled. I am available for as much interaction as you like, and ask guests to read the welcome letter in case they want a tour or tasting;...none of which you signed up for. I try to respect some guests preference for a retreat or privacy but every time I saw you walking around, I stopped to chat. We talked for a while about Isabel Allende, if you recall. This is a farm, on a dirt road, and although I also vacuum before guests arrive, unless they remove shoes, they track in dirt themselves. Because of your feedback, I am putting this in my profile. As for overpriced...hotels in nearby Bodega Bay are $250 a night for 2...mine is $125 a night for up to 4, so that may give you some perspective. The money goes to supporting the farm enterprise.

Quiet, cozy place for a retreat. The goat farm is cute and we enjoyed watching the goats. The main issues we had dealt with a lack of cleanliness on the property. The sliding mirrors in the closet in the living room had fingerprint smudges from previous guests. We found someone’…

Will, I apologize for old underwear, which I missed in cleaning up until the next guest. I thought it was an old rag. In 3 years of running the bnb....you unfortunately got the only cheese that had molded .....but I would have been glad to replace it if you had let me know. I live in the duplex behind, and so am always available. We have screens on all windows and the front door, and there is also a door sweep so I don't know how the wasp got in but I expect with you, as I am the one who cleans, and vacuums before each guest arrives and did not notice any spiders or bees. As a result of your feedback, I am suggesting to guests that they remove their shoes. Hotels in nearby Bodega Bay are $250 for 2....my place is $125 for up to 4 and the opportunity to spend the night on a working farm. The money helps in the running and maintenance of the farm....I am sorry you were disappointed, but most who come here appreciate the unique experience offered and also avail themselves or the extras described in the welcome letter. We loved Patty’s goat farm. She was an awesome and sweet host. Our kids had a blast hanging out with the goats and chickens. Patty’s home-made cheese was to die for! Can’t wait to come back!
