This location is an excellent base for accessing local activities such as, swimming kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and all water sports (5-minute walk away at Fisherman’s Bay jetty). Other local activities include bush walks, cycling, mountain biking trails, and observing local birds and native wildlife.
Surrounding attractions in the Royal National Park include the cliff top walks, Eagle Rock, Wedding Cake Rock, and Figure 8 rock pools, Audley Picnic Grounds, Whale Watching and Aboriginal Rock Engravings. Other local attractions include, Symbion Wildlife Park, Ferry to Cronulla, Hang Gliding at Otford, Port Hacking River Cruises.
Nearby beaches such as Maianbar spit (10-minute walk from Garden Studio), Bonnievale, Hordern’s, Jibbon, and Wattamolla offer many opportunities for swimming, and local surf break is at Garie (15 min drive).
