In the 1997 The Castle movie, the Kerrigan family visit their holiday home in Bonnie Doon, most scenes were shot on the front inclosed varanda.

A granny flat named 'The Poolroom' is located there it is the 3rd bedroom that sleeps an additional 3 guests with the aditional bathroom.
