The space
The open space appartment is designed in muted colours with matte structures and wooden elements, providing cosy and calm atmosphere. Below a descricption by area.
Sleeping area:
Our main priority is to provide our guests with a great sleeping experience. For that, all window areas can be closed with thick curtains. Additionally, the sleeping area features a queen sized bed with a high quality spring mattress. The firmness of the mattress is Medium (5 out 10). The additional topper, made out of memory foam, provides an extra cozy feeling. All of the bed sheets are made of 100% cotton. All fillings are made out of 90% down feathers. On the bed there are 4 sleeping pillows. Two of them are higher, two of them are lower, so our guests can always choose the one best suiting their sleeping style. There are always additional clean bedsheets under the bed, in case they're needed. The lamp on night table has an integrated wireless charging feature for smartphones, as well as a USB-C connection to connect a charger.
The 43" SMART TV is located in front of the bed over a wooden shelf. In the shelf there is additional storage.
Kitchen:
The open kitchen is the center stage of the flat. It is equipped with all the essentials needed to cook and enjoy a home prepared meal.
For the coffee lovers, a Nespresso machine is ready for you, whenever you need it. Please note that we provide a few free of charge capsules per stay, which are usually more than enough for the average guest. For guests with a larger taste for coffee, we can arrange extra capsules at additional costs. Additionally there is tee and instant coffee free of charge.
The kitchen is further equipped with:
- a microwave
- a water cattle
- an induction stove, as well as fitting stainless steel pans and pots
- an oven
- a fridge and freezer large enough to fit the weekly shopping with ease
The dishes include a 6 piece set of plates (large, small, deep), glass cups, ceramic cups, as well as glases for wine, whisky and long-drinks.
To make life and cooking of our guests easier we already thought about small ameneties such as wine bottle opener, peeler, grater etc.
The cutlery is made of stainless steel. Please beware that the cooking knives are extremely sharp. A first aid kid can be found in the first dower in the cloakroom.
Additionally there are basic ingredients (salt, pepper, condiments, cooking oil), basic cooking amenities (aluminium and baking paper, kitchen paper), as well ass essential for cleaning (sponges, rags, soap)
To enjoy a meal in the right atmosphere, one can vary the degree of light to one's preference. The suede-chairs add a lounge-like feeling.
We do not recomment drinking the water from the sink, hence we provide a few waterbottles per stay.
Office area:
With a large window front overseeing the lake, the office area is the place for our guests to retreat and be productive.
There are several plugs on and around the table to connect various devices.
The table lamp operates as the night lamp on the night table and features wireless charging for phones and a USB-C connection.
To take the mind of our guests off the present, they can check out some of the books on the shelves.
The balcony:
If our guests fancy to eat or to enjoy a drink al fresco, they can do so in greenhouse-style balcony. There our guests will find a lounge-style suede-leather chair and a coffee table.
Being the only room without heating, in the cold season, the best time on the balcony is in the early afternoon, when the sun warms it up and the sunset provides a magnificent scenery.
In winter, we may bring the balcony chair inside to the kitchen to protect the sue leather from cold and humidity.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is equipped with a 2 meter high rain-shower. Besides body and hand towels our guests will find shampoo and shower gel, as well as basic hygiene items (soft toilet paper, q-tips, cotton pads, tampons).
There is also a Hairdryer and hair curler in the bathroom shelf.
The washing machine is also located in the bathroom. Respective gel and softner can be found in the bathroom as well. An English version of the instructions is available in the Home manual our guests receive as PDF and which we additionally place as hard copy in the flat. To dry clothes our guests may use the foldable drying rack, which is usually kept in the cloakroom.
Cloakroom and entrance area:
In the entrance to the flat there is:
- The interphone system for the doorbell, as well as a button to open the front doors of the building
- a large mirror
- a square leather stool, which is a handy place to sit, when taking your shoes on/off.
- key hangers (Please do not hang your coats here)
- a fire extinguisher in the corner next to the stool
The cloakroom, which serves as a wardrobe, has plenty of space for your luggage and clothes.
Here our guests will find:
- hangers for coats, shits and pants
- An iron and an iron table
- a foldable hanger
- a first aid kit
- a portable vacuum cleaner
- a cleaning mob
