Peace and quiet

Some info has been automatically translated.
A charming, centrally located, self contained studio cottage, up in the paddock, off the road but only moments away from the beach and the gourmet delights of Great Bay.

The space
The Little House is positioned only 15 minutes from the ferry, 10 minutes from the Neck beach, only moments from Bruny Island Cheesery and Get Shucked Oysters and across the road from the beach.

You will find a self contained studio cottage for 2, with a sitting area, double bed, fully equipped kitchen (microwave, sandwich press, 2 hotplates, small oven, fridge / freezer, filter coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc), toilet and bathroom.

It is a great location for exploring Bruny Island, but it also offers an opportunity to leave the car at home and enjoy the area around Great Bay. Take a stroll down to the local beach where you can walk for miles when the tide is out. Beach combe along the expansive sand flats then bring home your finds and create! Help yourself to coloured paper, pencils, paints and enjoy.

With no TV or internet, the Little House offers ample opportunity to unwind with books, puzzles and a range of creative materials for your use.

Only 10 mins drive from the iconic Neck beach lookout, the Little House is well situated for a visit to see the penguins at sunset between November and March.

The Little House is situated in front of our home, so you will see us around the place - either feeding the ponies, checking on the chooks, or heading off to work. Please say hi, we love to chat.

Guest access
The Little House is within walking distance of a long sandy beach on which you can walk for miles when the tide is out. Take a walk along the beach then head for coffee and fresh bread, or oysters and wine.

Other things to note
At this point in time the wood heater is for effect only. It cannot be used due to the flue being unsafe.

Although there are a couple of eateries in Great Bay open during the day, the nearest general Store, fuel or dinner venue is about 20km away, so come prepared!
