Bright, spacious, and clean private room, perfect for a short stop or a longer stay in one of Brooklyn’s hottest neighborhoods. The location could not be better; with the L-train half a block from the Montrose Ave. stop, taking you to union sq. in 15min (counting the time to get to the station), CitiBikes on the corner, amazing supermarket next block and awesome restaurants, bars, cafes and bakeries within a couple of blocks.

The space
About the space:

3 near identical private rooms, roughly 150 sf. each: One would be yours.

1 shared bathroom.

Common space for eating and socializing.

The 3 private rooms have a large window facing east, giving the room a magical quality at and after dawn. Customize the amount of light in the room with blinds and blackout rollers to suit your preferences. You’ll have a full-size bed with either a winter duvet or summer light sheet, two pillows, two nightstands and lamps. You’ll have a small desk, a clothes hanger and always eventful views onto Bushwick Ave.

The bathroom you would share with the inhabitant(s) of the neighboring rooms so long hot showers and major grooming would not be so welcome when other guests are around. However, if no other guests are around you will be able to take a very hot shower for a long time. In the bathroom you’ll find shampoo, conditioner, body soap, extra toilet paper, q-tips, hair dryer, first aid kit, pain killers etc.

The common space is a very cozy space where you can do very basic cooking and eat and drink. It’s a lovely space to have coffee or tea in the morning but of course be mindful of your neighbors so smooth movements in the early and late hours please.

There is a laundry room on the 7th floor of the building and amazing views of the city on the roof deck which I absolutely recommend you check out.

During your stay
My apartment is in adjacent space that is connected to the airbnb portion you'll be staying in. I like to meet all my guests if I can, just because it makes hosting so much more enjoyable :) However, you probably won't see much of me but I'm always around if any issues arise or if you have some questions :)

Neighbourhood highlights

We’re right in between two very cool and lively neighborhoods, Williamsburg to the west and Bushwick to the East. Both neighborhoods have great dining, shopping and nightlife and are walkable from here. The heart of Williamsburg is about 30 minutes walking distance from here or about a 5 minute subway ride. There you’ll find an Apple Store, Levis, Sephora and other international brands as well as local clothing, jewlery and furniture/décor stores, lots of great restaurants and bars. In Bushwick, you’ll find Art Galleries, night clubs, great food and probably the best graffity in NYC. What I also like is that my apartment is on a busy Brooklyn street so you get a view of the diversity of people living in Brooklyn.
