Eumelia, which means harmony, is a unique sustainable development agrotourism & ecotourism accommodation. We host yoga retreats, organic & weddings as well as workshops and events for wellbeing. Wine olive oil makers, wine & olive oil tastings, cooking classes with organic farm to table gastronomy. Olive picking and grape harvest and other agricultural activities. Our organic farm is designed along the principles of Homeodynamic/Biodynamic/Permaculture.

The space
The apartment hotel is located at the heart of the organic farm and is surrounded by olive trees, fields of herbs, fruit and vegetable gardens. The farm is located about 2 km from the village of Gouves in a traditional farming area surrounded by the mountains Taygetos and Parnonas, and about 13 kilometers from the beautiful Lakonikos Gulf with its’ scenic stretch of waterfront. The hotel is a wonderful and serene retreat with many interesting activities for visitors. There are many great walks around the farm area in the midst of a vibrant nature, as well as mountain bike trails. You can participate in the farm activities such as picking olives, grapes, herbs, fruits and vegetables or you can relax and enjoy the serenity

The ancient olive groves and beautiful herb fields have been cultivated by the same family since the 1890's. The idea behind the agrotourism farm is to create a sustainable farming area in southern Greece with the use of homeodynamic agriculture, which is as an alternative organic method of farming, similar to the homeopathic method used for human beings.

The cottages at the heart of the farm, as well as the other hotel facilities, use environmentally-friendly materials. The owners attach great importance to recycling and employ a number of different recycling methods: water is recycled and then used for farming purposes, whereas compost is created from all the organic material at the farm, as well as from the hotel facilities.

In addition, the buildings are heated and cooled with geothermal power, using heat pumps to minimize the use of petroleum or electricity and a standard-setting natural waste management, based on the root system.
