Riverslea Homestead is a beautiful home that was built in 1927 located in a small town called Whorouly. The Homestead is located on a family owned and operated farm of Ruth and Eddie Costenaro. It offers the finest country hospitality and the unique opportunity to experience an angus cattle farm .
We love being able to offer a beautiful homestead to allow families or couples who are looking to experience the country life and to escape the busy modern life.

The space
The Homestead is framed by the mountains of the High Country, where the ovens river flows between the spectacular rural landscape where angus cattle roam. Within the homesteads there is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry, 3 queen size guestrooms that are very spacious and a another room with a double bed and two singles, the home also provides you with a big lounge room too fit everyone in with a TV and a nice warm fire place. Outside you have a lovely fenced garden and yard, with a undercover BBQ area where you can relax and soak up the country charm and the heat of the sun.

Riverslea Homestead is located in the heart of North East Victoria, Whorouly.
When visiting you will experience this region’s local produce by sampling fine wines, cheese, olives, mustards, honey, walnuts, local grown fruit, vegetables and berries.
Our nearest Cafe "Whorouly Cafe" offers coffee, a selection of cooked breakfasts and lunches with other local produce. To escape the busy life, you can endure the local pub in the interment undercover beer garden whilst sipping on your choice of beverage under a big oak tree, in the company of the friendly locals.
We are close to some of the oldest and most diverse wine regions in Australia, including Rutherglen, Glenrowan, and the King Valley and Alpine Valley. Historic townships, interesting galleries, nurseries and museums are dotted around the hills and picturesque valley of the region. The area is home to the legends of Ned Kelly, Mad Dog Morgan and the Man from Snowy River.
