The space

Here you can rent an entire apartment in a thatched roofed farmhouse on the edge of the Müritz National Park. The beautiful landscape, with many small waters of the Mecklenburg Lake District, will make your stay a memorable one. Here each rest and relaxation in cycling and walking around the place Müritz. A boat ride, swimming at secluded beaches completely round off your stay, so they can here these days to start again completely. Very suitable for families with children, as many excursions can be reached in the immediate vicinity. THe apartment is located on the first floor and has a separate grill and playground.
The whole area is very large and spacious and offers enough space for all family members. Of course, there is a Wi-Fi access, ample parking and for special order the landlord served a breakfast with local produce from the area. Here you will find a place for barbecues in the courtyard on the terraces behind the house.

We had a good stay in Rene's appartment. The used to be farm actually contains 3 appartments, and we stayed on the upper floor. It's basic and a little dark, but enough room for 2 kids. You get some typical old farm noises at night (no idea what kind of night animals), so be prepared. Beds were okay though. Rene was very friendly, and living on the same property. Muritz nationalpark is a must see, although I'm not sure if it gets very crowded during holiday times.

We so much enjoyed our stay in this rural setting. It was interesting seeing the thatched roof being repaired. The accommodation was very large and fitted our needs perfectly. Rene bought a new egg steamer and we learned to use one for the first time, as we do not have them in the U.S. Rene was a fine host.

This farmhouse is comfortable and in a nice setting. Convenient for cyclists on the Berlin-Copenhagen tour.

We (6 people) stayed at Rene's during the Weekend. His apartment is very specious and easily accommodated us (3 bedroom + Kitchen + Bathroom + Living room area). The Apartment is very well located at the national park entrence and close to a local resturant. (usually very difficult to find in the area). In short - Very much recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at this 18th-century farmhouse. The farmhouse has recently been renovated but has kept its authentic feel. The apartment we stayed in was very comfortable and large enough to stay in with a family. The location is also great, since hiking paths can be reached directly from the farmhouse. If you are interested in exploring more of the Müritz National Park, then this would be a good location to explore from. This place is also excellent for families with small children as there is a small playground just in front, as well as some sheep and other animals to look at. If you are interested in renting a bicycle, you would need to go the next village (approx. 20 min walk) and rent a bike there. The owner is a genuinely friendly guy and helped us out with any questions we had. We can really recommend a stay here!
