Villa Excelsa is stylish & uplifting, offering a calm & inviting space. The tropical outdoor ensuite is a highlight, there's a small indoor dining table & kitchenette with a bar fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee pod machine, tea, coffee, milk, glass wear & cutlery. The villa is located at 'Freshwater Retreat', a 3 acre property with 3 other villas & a main house on the same grounds. There is also a larger communal kitchen, pool & BBQ facilities for your enjoyment. We look forward to hosting you.

The space
Villa Excelsa is 1 of 4 stylish self-contained villas along with a main house 'The Wright Residence' which are all located on the 'Freshwater Retreat' property. The 2 acre property features gardens, a turtle enclosure & shared communal outdoor entertaining area with a small pool, BBQ, kitchen & outdoor dining area for all guests to enjoy. There is plenty of space & privacy on this large property for you to relax while still being close to the city, local markets & Nightcliff Foreshore.

Guest access
There is parking on the property and on the street. Villa parking is located alongside the half retainer wall just inside the front gate.

Other things to note
Please note that guests can book out the other 3 villas and the main house 'The Wright Residence' at the Freshwater Retreat property so there may be other guests on the property during your stay.

The grounds and gardens are bigger than most hotels so you will have lots of privacy and space of your own but the pool and communal entertainment area including the BBQ and larger kitchen at the back of the property is a shared space for all guests.

Other things to note:
-The communal kitchen is fully equipped with all your entertainment needs except it does not have a stove or an oven.
- The kitchenette in your private villa is also equipped with everything you need to prepare continental breakfasts and coffee however it does not have a kitchen sink, although there is a bathroom sink.
- The villas do not have a washer and dryer, the closest Laundromat is 'Laundry Plus' located 1.1km from the villa at 6 Sabine Road, Millner, NT 0810

Villa Excelsa is located on the beautiful 'Freshwater Retreat' property in Jingli. The Jingli Water Gardens is a short 500 meter walk down the road which is one of the most popular parks in Darwin with lily ponds, a community garden, BBQs, Accessible toilets with change facilities, a large shaded playground and a skate park. The famous Rapid Creek Sunday Markets are located just on the other side of the water gardens - the laksa and Asian fusion food on offer is amazing. The Nightcliff Foreshore, with it's cafes, food vans and restaurants is also around the corner and so is Casuarina Shopping Centre. The property is immersed in nature but so close to all of the main attractions in Darwin and conveniently only a couple of minutes drive from the Darwin Airport.
