Cottage in Dunkeld with stunning mountain views. Ideal for couples, friends and families (up to 6 people) who love bushwalking and relaxing in comfort. The master bedroom has a queen bed with adjoining shower and basin, the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and 3rd bedroom has 2 king single beds. It is an easy walk to Royal Mail Hotel (1.4km) The house is fully equipped with all utensils and kitchen facilities. Pets are welcome and the large yard is enclosed.

The space
The house is an original 50's weatherboard design which has been completely renovated throughout. It has three bedrooms, the master bedroom has a queen bed with adjoining ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed with stunning mountain views. The third bedroom is set up with 2 king single beds. Please let us know when booking, which room/s you would prefer. The house is suitable for most occasions but not set up for large family gatherings (up to a maximum of 6 people.) The house is completely self contained and set up to cook if you like. There are heaters in the bedrooms and a wood fired heater and split system heater/airconditioner in the living/dining area. There are also fans in the bedrooms for those warm nights. We happily accept pets and the yard is enclosed to keep large dogs secure. The house has sweeping and unrestricted views of Mt Sturgeon which can be seen from the large entertaining deck. It is a lovely walk to the famous two hat Royal Mail Hotel. Dunkeld is considered the 'Gateway to the Grampians' and has many great bush walks, nearby wineries (our local favourite being Best's Winery: Great Western.)

Guests have access to everything including laundry with washing machine, tea/coffee and full use of kitchen facilities.

Other things to note
There is a red folder in the house with information you will need. When booking for two people we assume that you are a couple and will be sharing a bed. If you are not, please let us know so more beds can be prepared. It is not suitable for large family gatherings more than 6 people. There is no extra charge for babies but you'll need to provide your own linen. There is a port-a-cot available for use.
