The apartment has a private garden, terraces and a balcony and is at the historic Borgo Pognana Lario. It offers you amazing views of the lake!
It's an excellent oppurtunity to enjoy the real Italia and visit the lake, Como and Bellagio.

The space
This apartment is situated in a historic buidling and has a private garden, terraces and a balcony with great views of Lake Como.

The apartment offers a living room with a new separate kitchen (including all appliances), 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower (with jets) and a garden room. The apartment is equipped as standard but offers all facilities (including free WiFi & Sat-TV).

The garden, balcony & terraces offer complete privacy and are only accessible to our guests. Also from here you have a great view of the lake!

1 bedroom is located in the souterrain. Since 2022, this bedroom is also accessible via the central hall. By the way, in the living room you will also find two good sofa beds.

Please note that the apartment is located in the historic village, or the Borgo of Pognana Lario. This means that you have to walk for a few minutes from the general car park and the walkway is slightly steep uphill and there are small steps.

The Borgo Pognana Lario gives you a real authentic feel and is centrally located on the lake between Bellagio & Como.

Other things to note
Dono Il Lago is located at the old borgo of Pognana. Besides having beautiful views on the lake don't forget to stroll around and enjoy the cobbled ancient streets of Pognana .

The public parking is about 300 metres from the borgo and the borgo can not be reached by car.

One last thing to mention: the house of George Clooney is directly at the other side of the lake and can be seen from the appartment, the garden and the terraces.

Although the historic borgo Pognana Lario is not accessible by car (meaning: you have to walk to the appartment, as the Italians do), this inconvenience is compensated by the true authentic feeling of the Italian way of living.
Pognana Lario is a unique spot because of the splendid lakeviews and because the borgo is well kept as an ancient place. Still, there are restaurants, bars and shops for groceries which can reached by foot.
Pognana Lario is called: "Sunny Pognana". As it has a perfect spot on the lake there are more sunhours then for example Nesso or Laglio. Don't like the sun all day? As our terraces are on different locations you always will find a shady spot also!
