The space
We need to sign a temporary rental contract due to accommodation needs for work, studies, medical visits, etc.

A penthouse with a large terrace for private use (the only one in the building), views of the Royal Palace and the Sabatini Gardens, a privileged position in the same Plaza de Oriente where the great classical buildings next to the Royal Theater form a spectacular setting.
The apartment is situated in a historical aristocratic building, beautifully renovated while maintaining the essence of the original construction; a curious feature of the building is the elevator, an antique one of a kind rarely found nowadays, since the majority of these large buildings, in which originally there were only a few very large dwellings, have now been converted into modern apartments, with the interior of the building itself also having been renovated.
The property is in fact a penthouse recently completely renovated, 80 square metres in size and also with a 35-square-metre terrace ( private terrace ), and has room for four people; there is one independent bedroom and a bathroom.
The apartment is located on the fifth floor of the building currently undergoing work on the facade and it should be pointed out that the elevator only goes up to the fourth floor. From thereon one climbs up a narrow staircase with not too many steps to reach the old-fashioned lofts where the property is situated.
An important feature of the apartment is the particular spaciousness of the main rooms such as the living room and the bedroom. They are also both very bright, not only because of the light that floods in from outside but also because the walls are practically completely made up of large, wide double-glazed windows, fitted with fine curtains in order to filter the brightness and blinds to close the light out completely.
The living room is simple and very practical, designed with comfort in mind. The furniture has been limited to the essentials: a fine sofa where one can relax in comfort and which can also be turned into a bed, a large, modern flat-screen television with cable tv and DVD player, and a dining area surrounded by windows, with a round table for four people.
The bedroom is also particularly spacious; it has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps and a large built-in wardrobe.
The kitchen is small but very well-equipped with all modern comforts, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and both microwave and conventional ovens. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub and is fitted with a comfy heated towel rail.
The price does not include electricity, gas, and water costs. Approximate average consumption is €150 per month, which will be billed monthly.

The apartment is located in the center of Madrid, if you love walking you can go to all places by foot but if you prefer public transport you have the metro stop to 5 minutes and buses and the Hop-on-hop-off at the same door.
