Ruby View is a ground floor apartment of our home. The perfect place to relax and unwind and listen to the waves. You can walk along the beach to the village of Mapua to cafes and restaurants.
The Great Taste Trail cycle-way passes by the door. With so many local stunning beaches, wineries and art galleries there is plenty to see and do in the area.
Ruby View is situated halfway between Richmond and Motueka. Marahau, the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park is 35km and 30 min to Nelson.

The space
This is a ground floor apartment.
The bedroom opens onto a small courtyard overlooking the back garden, to the beautiful Ruby Bay just 20 meters away. A separate living area with a conservatory.
WiFi, TV, washing machine, kitchenette with a fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities.
Towels and bed linen are provided.
We live upstairs and while your space is private, the back garden is a shared space to access the beach and walkway.

The neighbourhood is a quiet, safe and friendly area on a small cul de sac road.
Tasman's Great Taste Trail runs directly alongside the house while there are an abundance of bike trails and walks nearby. 6 minute drive to Mapua cafes and restaurants or a 40 minute walk.

I have happily been an Airbnb host for over 4 years. We now have a wonderful self-contained home, attached to our own home, and I am happy to share our beach retreat with guests.

During your stay

I will be available if required as I only live upstairs. I won't disturb you and will give you lots of privacy.
It is worth mentioning that it is an older style house and there will be sound of upstairs occupancy when we are home.
