Kelvin Falls is a 2000 acre, working cattle property, which features a picturesque rural outlook with open grazing, seasonal flowing creeks and rugged gorges.

The space
The cosy, two bedroom worker's cottage offers a peaceful retreat for couples or families, with a double bed in the first bedroom, and a single bed with a roll-away single bed in the second.
The kitchenette has a small oven & stove, a refrigerator, and cookware and utensils are provided. There is also a gas barbecue available, along with a campfire with wood provided for boiling a billy or roasting marshmallows under the stars.
(also Pet Friendly!)

Guest access
Standard provisions in the cottage include milk, tea bags and instant coffee. We can offer a breakfast basket featuring local produce for $50, which includes a freshly home-baked loaf of bread, 500g of our own (or local) thickly sliced bacon, our own farm fresh eggs (x8), homemade fruit jam, homemade granola (gluten free), 1ltr of Sutton’s Apple juice and ground coffee.

Other things to note
There is usually enough parking in the shed for vehicles of all shapes and sizes - including caravans, r/v's and motorhomes.

Location

Elbow Valley, Queensland, Australia

We recommend a trip to the Granite Belt to sample some fantastic fresh fruit and veg, plus of course world class wineries.
Queen Mary Falls is also a great attraction for locals and visitors alike.

We are a down to earth Christian family in Southern Queensland with a passion for regenerative agriculture. We run a small cattle property 20km south of Warwick, and enjoy hosting others in our workers cottage converted into a B&B. Country hospitality at it's best! We have traveled all over the world and have fond memories of the Sacred Valley in Peru and have a special link to Taiwan.

During your stay
Kelvin Falls is a working cattle property. Tractors and livestock are a part of our normal daily life. Andrew or Rowena will be at the homestead to greet you and show you around the cottage. Short farm tours are sometimes offered on the weekends, and guests are welcome to join in the daily chores, such as collecting the eggs or feeding the horses, pigs, chooks, etc, etc.
For guests that want to have their own privacy and space to relax and unwind, note that the cottage is located well away (about 100m) from the homestead, behind a large shed.
