Mountain and valley views

Guests say the views are lovely.
Mystic Ridge Estate offers ‘Eagle Peak Tiny Abode’. Be amazed by the breathtaking panoramic lake views as the property is situated on the west ridge overlooking Lake George. The lake bed is visible during the dry years and the lake will slowly reappear during wet years.

The lake is currently the fullest it’s been in many years. You are encouraged to view it before it dries up again!

We have three accommodation choices on the property so please check out the other two listings!

The space
This gorgeous tiny house is located on top of the ridge overlooking Lake George facing towards the spectacular views. Ideally suited as a couples retreat, it is set within a private small space on a rural property only 35 minutes from Canberra and 2.5 hours from Sydney. You can gaze at the stars while lying in bed at night and watch the sun rise in the morning.

The tiny house offers guests a comfortable stay with a full quality bathroom with a small kitchenette complete with air-conditioning and heating. There is a double sized bed facing directly towards the beautiful view. It can sleep 2 adults comfortably and most suitable as a couples retreat.

The kitchenette provides a kettle with tea and coffee, cutlery, plates, bowls, toaster, mini fridge and microwave with suitable microwave safe containers to cook and heat up your light meals.

The bathroom has a walk in shower, quality fittings, basin, tiled to the roof with a flush toilet (connected to septic tank).

Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash are provided.

If you're using your own soap, shampoo, tooth paste, we ask that you bring biodegradable ones so that the grey water runoff does not harm the environment.

The water is from a tank with a limited supply so please only use the water that you need and don't be wasteful. Thank you!

Guest access
Please read rules carefully before booking - The guests must strictly stay within their own private area around the tiny house. They must not walk down the hill, in front of other accommodation or around the property.

The main residence and another two cabins (VistaMirage and StarGazer) are located on the property nearby, so the owner and other guests will also be on the property. The VistaMirage and StarGazer are next to each other approximately 30 meters over the other side of the house. So small groups can book separately and couples can have their own personal unit or you can book just for yourselves and maintain your privacy. All areas have been designed to feel spacious and have full access to the view yet provide privacy for all guests. So for your own privacy/safety and that of others, please strictly stay within the boundaries.

Please also do not drive further up Ridge road as this is private property and is restricted to residents only.

Guests have their own parking spot right in front of the tiny house gate. The driveway is gravel and the 540m road leading to the property is dirt. You will encounter dirt, gravel, potholes and potentially mud if it has been raining. Please drive carefully and slowly and avoid bringing any cars that you do not want to be driven on dirt/gravel roads.

Strictly no visitors allowed at any time. Only the guests who have booked the accommodation can stay.

Other things to note
** Please read entire listing before booking **

Please note that there is no fire pit available on this property and no fires are allowed at any time.

The Federal Highway is at the bottom of the ridge and can be heard from the top of the ridge. The surrounding areas are private property and are restricted access.

Strictly no pets allowed. The tiny house is located on private property where the owner resides and has several pets such as horses, dogs, cat and poultry. Most of the pets have minimal access to the tiny house site. Please do not approach, feed or pat the horses.

Good mobile reception for Telstra but others also seem to work well.

No drones allowed please.

This accommodation is located in a rural location and is surrounded by nature. The environment around it will constantly change and you may experience high winds, fog, heavy rain, storms, insects, spiders, birds, mice, rats, kangaroos, rabbits, mosquitoes, turtles, echidnas, cobwebs, dirt etc. This is all part of the experience so avoid leaving the door open, especially at night with the light on, so insects don't get inside.
