Welcome to Cabin Wakoh! We have everything you want for a relaxing family getaway - pet friendly, a truly unique and breathtaking view, hot tub, and grill in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. We’re located 10 minutes away from The Village, 5 minutes from the lake, 5 minutes from Big Bear Snow Play, and 15 minutes from Snow Summit Ski Resort. There is a beautiful secluded hiking trail right outside our house, the perfect place to bring your pup for a walk. We look forward to hosting you!

The space
Cabin Wakoh is the perfect cabin for couples, families, and friends to enjoy nature in our quiet neighborhood surrounded by pine trees. Our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, pet friendly home has a gorgeous view, hot tub, grill, fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and many more amenities provided to help you relax and enjoy your stay.

Upstairs:
Our kitchen is complete with a full sized fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven and coffee machine. We have dishware, pots and pans and utensils so you can enjoy a night in cooking.

The spacious living room has a smart TV with streaming services, a fireplace, access to an upper level deck with a breathtaking mountain view of Bear Mountain Resort, a recliner and a leather couch.

The master bedroom has access to the top deck as well, a queen bed, walk-in closet where the crib and baby gate are stored, and a full bathroom with a tub and shower.

The washer and dryer are located right next to the bathroom in the hallway closet.

Downstairs:
The 2nd bedroom has a queen sized bed with a memory foam mattress and a designated work space below a window providing natural light.

The final bedroom has a full sized bunk bed with memory foam mattresses. This room has a TV.

The downstairs bathroom is located between both bedrooms and has a full shower and tub.

The top deck has a breakfast table for you to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. There is a grill at the opposite end of the deck. Two sliding doors allow access to the master bedroom and the living room.

Beneath the top deck is a large patio with a couch, small table, rocking chairs and a private hot tub. Gather up and relax in the hot tub surrounded by pine trees.

The doggy yard is located in the back yard, to the right, when exiting the back door. Doggy bags are provided.

Guest access
You will have full, private access to the property during your stay.

Other things to note
Out of respect for our neighbors we do not allow loud groups at any time of day. This property is not suited for rowdy gatherings. Quiet hours are from 9pm-9am.

We have a ring doorbell that records and monitors the entrance to the home.

We have a strict cancellation policy so we recommend you protect your trip with travel insurance.

We do not have A/C in our home but the mountain gets very chilly during summer nights and by opening windows at night then closing in the cool air in the morning you can keep the house a comfortable temp during warmer months. Overhead fans and plug-in fans are also provided.

During winter always have chains for your car. This will help to navigate the roads and pulling in and out of the driveway if snow or ice accumulate during your stay.

This is a pet friendly cabin. We allow dogs (2 maximum). Pets must be added to the reservation. Dogs may not be left alone in the home if they bark or are not in a kennel.

We provide toiletries, coffee, hot chocolate, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towels and cooking basics like salt and pepper amongst other amenities. Please bring your own firewood to enjoy the fireplace!

There are risks involved in the use of hot tubs. Please be aware that there are potential dangers to children who are not carefully supervised as well as any person misusing the hot tub or if a person has health risks, is intoxicated, using any mind altering substances or medications, or pregnant.

You are responsible for accidents, injury or damage to personal belongings while staying at this property.

Neighbourhood highlights

We live in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood with surrounding forest.

There is a hiking trail just outside of our house, down the street and to the left of the cabin.

Vons, Stater Bros, and CVS are only 5 minutes away. The Village is 10 minutes away. There are many fun, local restaurants and stores, which you can find in our personal guide book at the cabin.

If you are into thrifting and antique shopping, there are many shops near our cabin!
