A nice, bright room in a semi-rural cape house. The morning sun gushes in your windows if you leave the shades up. The private bath is a touch of the 70's with its blue sink, tub and toilet. Rustic cozy wooden living room. No pets d/t allergies
Feel free to watch TV in the living room, or bring back take out food and eat in the dining room.
Interaction with guests
Sometimes I will have morning coffee with guests if they are up for a chat, or end of the evening conversation, just to be social. It is all up to the preference and schedule of the guests.
Other things to note
I like to have a sense of when you are arriving, in case I have errands to do on the day of your arrival.
I am a semi-retired nutritionist, who recently moved out of Boston, to be in a place where this is more room for gardening, and where I can see the stars at night. I swim, bike, run, ski, play tennis, and play hockey. Groton is a great place for all kinds of outdoor activities. Bring your kayak, your roller blades, your bike, or, in-season, your XC skis and enjoy a visit here.
The house is just under a 1 mile from the Groton School, and just over 2 miles from Lawrence Academy, in case you want to visit someone there.
Accommodations are simple but cozy. If you're here on Mondays at 6:30pm, you can sit in on the Tong Ren energy healing class that happens here. It is a treat.
Sunsets are frequently spectacular here too.
I have Wi-Fi here, but no cable TV at the present time.
