Relax indoors, or bask in the views and fresh air from the front deck or huge covered porch. Just 1 mile away from boating, fishing & kayaking at the nearby public marina, or hitting the trails for hiking, snowmobiling and skiing. It's halfway between the historic towns of Anaconda & Philipsburg and close to Discovery Ski Area, it's the perfect balance of getting-away and staying close.

The space
You may just catch a glimpse of the neighborhood moose or great gray owl! This family-friendly home with a merry, vintage vibe is fully equipped for your cooking, working and entertainment pleasure. The large kitchen has full oven, stove, dishwasher, plus access to an outdoor grill. For remote work, there's strong wifi and a dedicated desk or work out on the porch or sun room in warmer weather! The large TV includes Netflix and SlingTV, or connect your device for your favorite channels and apps.

**Boat / trailer parking is available on site depending on length, contact us for details.

So close to nearly every outdoor recreational opportunity in the Western US. The fenced yard on 1.7 acres is a big plus for dog lovers, except for the driveway gate. (it can be closed, however there are others coming and going on the property so may not be a good fit for pups that tend to explore)

**NOTE: The property is shared - there is an apartment in the detached garage behind the house. as well as an RV site in the back and small cabin accessed from the long driveway(also available for rental, contact us for details!). The home is still very private feeling in the front and screened porch, but if you were looking for more isolation, this may not the best option**

Other things to note
Our nightly rate is for 5 guests. there is a $10 per night additional fee for each guest over five for larger groups (applied automatically in the booking calculator)

My work: My non-profit works with both public and private sectors collecting and analyzing datasets on the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem and collaborating to solve real ecological problems.
Lives in Bozeman, Montana
Please call me Bob! I am the founder and chief scientist at the Yellowstone Ecological Research Center (YERC). Over my 30-plus years working in the Greater Yellowstone, my research interests have sought a more holistic connection between nature, people, and technology. That’s led to what I call “Adaptive Ecology,” studying not only how ecosystems adapt to changing conditions, but how the science of ecology must adapt to social and technological changes as well. That focus drives YERC’s mission today. Personally, I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and finding common ground among cultures and communities. I love sharing my knowledge of the Greater Yellowstone area and ecology, the best places to spot local wildlife, and my favorite watering holes in the area.
