Come and stay with us at our private, newly renovated basement apartment, which is conveniently located 1.5 blocks from the Georgia Avenue Metro in Washington DC. Our garden-level apartment is complete with a private entrance, private parking space, a separate sitting area with a sofa bed and kitchen table, a kitchen, full bathroom, queen-size bed, two closets, a work desk, wifi, separately controlled heat/air and more!

Guests enter the private unit on the lower level through their own separate entrance in our backyard. The backyard also includes a private parking space for guests.

Combined with a self check-out, guests should feel confident that every effort is being made to keep our community healthy. With a grocery store two blocks away and newly renovated space to escape, consider our Airbnb for your next staycation, alternative workspace (we all need a change of location sometimes!), or longer-term stay!

Ground Floor: Our unit is on the ground floor. Taller guests may wish for another unit with higher ceilings.

Noise: Please note we have two young children who live and make noise above you. We ask for your grace, as toddlers aren’t always rational :) While the little ones go to bed early they also rise early. We recommend our unit for deep sleepers (we provide ear plugs for light sleepers) and early risers, or for people who will spend most of their time exploring the city.

We live in the historical and charming neighborhood of Petworth. Our home is located a block and a half from the Petworth Metro (green/yellow lines, the 70s/60s/50s bus lines, and two Capital Bikeshare docks). We are one block from Safeway Grocery and three blocks from Yes! Organic Market. We are within a ten minute walk to the charming Upshur Street corridor with our very own bookstore, clothing shop, pizzeria, coffee shop, ice cream & candy shop, cocktail bar, and restaurants. We are also less than a ten minute walk to the 11th street and 14th street restaurants and bars of Columbia Heights.
