Stunning waterfront home. Just 30 minutes from Hobart CBD but a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Take the time to unwind in this calm and beautiful place, surrounded by nature in your own piece of paradise.

The space
This stunning home is set on 8 acres of light bush, overlooking Ralphs Bay. Just a crown reserve between you and the water. Enjoy complete peace and privacy with constantly changing views from every room in the house, even the bathroom!

Enjoy all that Hobart has to offer with the city just a 30 minute drive away.

Baragoola Retreat is the perfect place for that romantic weekend away, the family getaway or for a group of friends exploring Tasmania.

Indulge yourself with the little extra luxuries, from the inbuilt espresso machine to the ultimate free-standing bath overlooking the water. Cook up a storm in the chefs kitchen and enjoy your meal indoors, surrounded by the view, or alfresco, on one of the huge decks.

Read a book from the library, watch a movie or just relax with a glass of your favourite Tassie beverage in front of a roaring log fire, or out on the deck (depending on the season).

A number of beaches are within a few minutes drive, including the great surf at Clifton Beach and the sheltered and safe swimming at Opossum Bay. The fabulous Tangara Trail, accessed from the bottom of the block, provides kilometres of walking track along the waterfront. For the energetic there are a range of activities nearby including fishing, bushwalking, swimming, stand up paddle boarding, surfing and wine tasting. Then again you may just want to spend all your time in the house, eating, drinking, relaxing, and simply spending time with your family and friends!

Where you’ll be

Sandford, Tasmania, Australia

Sandford is a rural location on a beautiful peninsula about 30km outside Hobart. It is known as "Paradise Peninsula" by the locals and you will see why when you get here. It is a stunning bushland landscape surrounded by beautiful coast and beaches. Dotted in the bush are the properties of the lucky locals set on large blocks of 5 the 8 acres, most with fabulous views over the ocean. It truly is a stunning part of Tasmania but we live here so we might be biased!

Hi all!

I’m Emma and the other two cute boys in my profile picture are my partner, Jeff, and our baby, Cillian.

We live in the Tasmanian bush close to Hobart and you can typically find us bush walking, camping, fishing or sea swimming (when Jeff isn’t working or studying!).

I am originally from the UK but the variety of the Tasmanian wilderness, it’s incredible food and of course the people, stole my heart. Now this is my home!

I hope you can come and explore my adopted home!
