Somerton Barn is a unique farm stay experience, nestled among the green hills of the Southern Highlands. Enjoy all the creature comforts of home plus special ingredients for a memorable romantic escape. Stroll to picnic spots. Get cosy around the potbelly fireplace. Share spectacular views of the farm, distant mountains, sunset, and stars in the night sky. See Angus and Highland cattle, Suffolk sheep, alpacas and chickens as well as native Australian wildlife including kangaroos and wombats.

The space
All guest airbnb fees are paid by the host. Think of the barn as your country 'home away from home' farm stay. Relax and unwind with your partner in the airconditioned comfort of the accommodation space inside the barn. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom, the living area has a double size sofa bed, and a kitchen. Enjoy the character of the large barn space with a high ceiling. Open up the large sets of barn doors day or night for fresh air and spectacular views. Enjoy drinks and a meal in the outdoor entertaining space which has a breath-taking vista. This area undergoes a magical transformation at night when you turn on the festoon lights.

Somerton Collection is perfect for creating romantic getaway memories. Stroll to one of many scenic picnic spots. Families or groups of friends can share quality time seizing the opportunity to ‘get grounded’ and re-connect with nature. Take in magical times of the day: morning with first light breaking; sunset with a spectacular array of changing orange and pink hues spanning the horizon; and stargazing with an expansive night sky.
