Lance's house is amazing! Completely unique property, amazing styling inside, perfect views of Portland. Lance was friendly, easy to talk to, and incredibly welcoming. Bukowski is a welcome addition to the house as well! Check in and check out were easy. We were in total awe of the property, and would love to come back one day.

Extraordinary views, comfy room. Lance is friendly and helpful, willingly shares the rest of his home. Built me a fire one evening in the treetop living room.

A truly wonderful experience nestled up on high. Great communication by Lance from our initial booking through to updates on deer sightings whilst we were there. Made to feel right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Helpful suggestions for local activities and places to eat in the area. Just simply the most magical treehouse you'll ever stay in!

We stayed at Lance’s place for two days. The view from his place was impeccable. He even gave us a tour! He made sure we had everything we needed. There are a lot of hiking trails in the area as well.

Lance’s house is an absolute gem. The views are exceptional and the house overall is very cozy and neat. Lance is awesome and even made us coffee every morning! :) he gave us a ton of recommendations where to go in Portland that were very helpful. The house is 5 about minutes from downtown but seculuded enough in the beautiful nature to explore in! I would recommend staying here to anyone. It was an amazing experience, hopefully I can come again soon!

Lance’s place was exactly as advertised- secluded, amazing view, and generally wonderful. I was a little worried about doing a private room rather than the whole place, but Lance was an amazing host and we had a large portion of the house completely to ourselves!

Lance is a great host. Immediately upon booking he sent a wealth of information on the surrounding area. I really enjoyed the locals knowledge of what to do in the area. Lance provided solid tips on where to eat at a few great restaurants. Obviously the house is unlike anything and the views really are amazing. I especially enjoyed all of the running trails around the house and went a few different runs through the nature reserve during the day. Lance is awesome and I think if you want a unique experience of Portland this should be your pick.

Hi,

I am Lance. I love where I live.

My house is an architectural and engineering marvel perched on a forest-like wooded hillside. It has unbelievable views of downtown Portland and of natural beauty. The house has floor to ceiling windows yet is completely private. Three pairs of vultures soar in front of the house throughout the summer over the Marquam Park Nature Reserve. The reserve is home to hawks, falcons, hummingbirds, raccoons, owls, and the odd coyote.

Even on overcast days, it is still a very bright place to be.

I am a manufacturer's rep, marketing to industry, from paper mills to potato chip plants. Seeing Cheetos being made is unexpectedly entertaining.

I windsurf most of the summer in the Columbia Gorge and in the off season, I run the Marquam Trails by my house.

Oh yeah, and I like company.
