This property is in an amazing location surrounded by the forest with incredible views of the mountains and the valley below. Sandra was an amazing host and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in the Cradle Mountains. Will gladly recommend anyone visiting Tasmania to stay here!

Warm and welcoming, ideal base for exploring Cradle Mountain. Sandra was a genuinely hospitable host, and her thoughtful gestures were greatly appreciated. The accommodation is well located for exploring Cradle Mountain, but is also pleasantly secluded, allowing serene enjoyment of the beautiful views in all directions. Facilities made for a warm, comfortable stay, including a very comfortable bed with electric blankets! Sandra's dog Sparkles is also a total darling - we loved starting and ending most days with a greeting from her! Highly recommended, thankyou Sandra!

A short drive away from both Cradle Mountain and Launceston. Nothing but the definition of warmth, coziness and peacefulness in winter days. Our fatigue after the long drive was swept off by Sandra's lovely handmade bread and pumpkin soup. Sparkles(the house dog) has been nice and sweet.

We chose this property because it is pet friendly and only half an hour from beautiful Cradle Mountain. We were greeted upon arrival by Sandra and her lovely dog Sparkle. Sandra went above and beyond during our stay by providing warm, homemade bread and soup on a couple of occasions. There is a lovely view of the mountains and valley from the bedroom and kitchen. We enjoyed seeing how different it looked each day as the weather changed. The apartment has plenty of space and is very cosy with the heaters going. You need to self-cater as there aren't really any shops close by. Sandra had advised us prior to arrival so we were well prepared. The kitchen is very nice and well equipped. We had a lovely 5 night stay and look forward to returning again very soon.

Sandra's home is in the most fabulous location. The food she provided each morning was delicious! I'd describe the flat as rustic and very Tasmanian. The view from behind the house is phenomenal. The entrance is private, but the apartment does connect to the main house. Bring warm clothes – it's pretty cold without the heaters turned on (though there are ample heaters provided).
