Charming Inner West self-contained garden chalet in Glebe, close to Sydney CBD overlooking Blackwattle Bay. Cul-de-sac off Glebe Pt Rd with cafes, bookshops and all amenities including Broadway Shopping Centre and cinemas. 10 min walk thru park to TramSheds & lightrail to fish markets, the casino & Lyric Theatre, Darling Harbour, Paddy’s Markets & Central. Sydney Uni and UTS close by. Friendly neighbours, parrots, possum, kookaburras in leafy small backyard. Friendly dog, owner in house onsite.

Glebe is an inner west suburb of Sydney - known as the village of Glebe. It is surrounded by parks and bounded by Blackwattle Bay, one of Sydney Harbour's inlets. About 20 minutes from the CBD by bike, bus or light rail. With Sydney University at the end of Glebe Point Road, the main avenue where you will find a rich cross section of cafes, village shops and the famous Saturday market. The suburb is known for its historic villas, good food and cute cottages like mine. And above all its friendly leafy neighbourhood. A favourite.

I’ve lived and worked internationally, but enjoy being back home in Australia for the past 30+ years. I’m grandma to 4 with baby Sadie often here at home as the others are in Switzerland and France. During your stay

Given COVID I am double boosted (4 vax) and want everyone who comes to stay to also have had 2 vax. To access the chalet you need to go through the house. My dog Sol and I will meet and greet you and show you the ropes. I live in the house and work from home and am mostly at home. I will advise directions for either public transport or parking (on-street). I will be available on my mobile which I will share once the booking is made or on check-in day.
