Grade 2 Listed cottage, in the heart of Deal's Conservation Area. Recently renovated, redecorated and the perfect base for a stay on the Kent coast. Vintage style with modern comforts.
Look left out of the front door to the beach shelter at the end of the street, the sea beyond. A peaceful location but moments away from all the town has to offer- delightful independent shops, fantastic pubs and restaurants.
Note: due to the age of the building there are some low ceilings and narrow stairs.

The space
Well located, characterful Grade 2 Listed cottage. Two bedrooms (one in the attic with limited head room at the eaves sides of the room), bathroom, basement dining room and double height kitchen. Private courtyard to the rear.
Recently renovated with a charming mix of vintage furniture and modern comforts. Excellent wifi throughout.

The cottage was built around 1840, with original beams and staircases. The cellar dining area and attic bedroom have low ceilings, so tall people may bang their heads, and the stairs are steep and narrow, so not ideal for people with limited mobility. The house is not child proofed, though children over 7 years old are welcome.

Deal is a friendly former coastal smuggling town with a perfectly preserved Conservation area. Full of great places to eat and drink within walking distance. Enjoy the surrounding countryside and beach on the doorstep, with other fantastic sights and towns a short drive or train journey away.
Deal is a great base to explore Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Sandwich, Dover, Folkestone, fine English vineyards and much more.
