If you're looking for a rustic, but comfortable stay, Amy and Jay's place will fit the bill. It's clean, quite, and with beautiful views. You will enjoy staying there as much as we did. Check in was easy, as was communicating with the hosts. Do be aware that there is no internet, but we knew that in advance and welcomed the respite from being tuned in to the world. The libraries in Harrison and Bridgton are nearby, if you feel the need to connect. We hiked the property a bit, but didn't have time to explore all 17 acres. We'd like to return to Amy and Jay's and do even more exploring.

A great place to enjoy Maine's natural beauty and wildlife. The cottage is very comfortable and cute inside but the highlight was sitting outside on the front porch. The cottage feels remote but is a short drive to nice restaurants, lakes and entertainment. Amy & Jay are very caring hosts and have prepared everything for an enjoyable stay. The cabin was so cute and outfitted for all of our basic needs. It was secluded up on a hill with gorgeous views of the mountains in the distance. The views of the stars and sunsets were perfect. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is your spot.

This cabin was the perfect getaway we needed! Waking up to the most perfect sunrises that anyone can imagine and watching the beautiful sunsets were the best way to start and end each day. The cabin is cozy and feels home. It's private but not too far from the cute, small town.

We had such a wonderful time here! The cabin is cozy and comfortable, it had everything we needed; we immediately felt at home. The view from the porch is gorgeous. We loved exploring nearby towns - Bridgton and Norway were favorite spots during our week stay. It's a perfect spot for a quiet getaway - we hope to be back again soon!

Oh my, the view!!! We could not have felt more welcomed. The cabin is perfectly equipped, private yet close to the little villages. I found Fresh lobster from Bridgetons Lobster Express and wonderful veggies and breads from local farmers markets so I did a lot of cooking and the extra spices and staples came in handy. Staying there was serene and refreshing. I would definitely stay again. It was hard to leave that little slice of heaven!

We had a wonderful time at Amy & Jay's "Cozy Cabin". It is very secluded but only about 10 miles from a town with several restaurants. No tv or internet. But we had 2 to 3 bars on our mobile phone signal and so we used it as a hotspot. Lots of hiking trails around the area. Just what we were looking for!

Sadly we will not be there to greet you. The house manual should have all the details you need to make yourselves at home.

About Amy And Jay

We currently live in Wisconsin - go Packers! But we have lots of family in New England so we travel to Maine several times a year. We purchased our cabin a few years ago and love being able to share this beautiful space with others. When we're there we love to hike, swim in the cleanest lakes you've ever seen, or take a short drive to the coast to explore miles and miles of coastline. By far our favorite thing to do is sit on the porch at sunset with a glass of wine and some good cheese - we are from Wisconsin after all!
