This original 1872 Worker's Cottage features 3 bedrooms, modern kitchen, front and back verandahs. Loads of character backing onto 6 heavily forested acres.
Watch the sunset from the front verandah in the evening, enjoy an outdoor bonfire as you watch the sunset, catch yabbies in the dam (when there's water) or try a tricky hike up the rocky rainforest gully to the seasonal waterfall (no path).
Lovely little cottage in the bush, rainforest gully to explore with a seasonal waterfall (only in wet season), pets are ok. 20 min drive to beaches at Coolum, 30 min to Noosa and 10 min to Eumundi with it's famous markets. Yandina train station and shops only 5 minutes away. Only just over an hour north of Brisbane, not far off Bruce highway. A great pitstop if you're travelling the East Coast of Australia. Incredible birdlife around the house. Peaceful and relaxing.

Interaction with guests
We will meet you to exchange keys, but other than that, it's all yours.
Other things to note
There is no undercover car parking available and there is a steep walk up from the parking area to the house. The house is semi-eco friendly, it is solar powered with gas hot water, stove and oven. It's on the Land for Wildlife register, and we have been slowly battling weeds and replanting native trees all over the 6 acres.
Please enjoy and have fun.
We are on tank water, please use the water carefully.
You are welcome to use whatever herbs and vegies there might be in the garden.
Please don't smoke inside the house and be mindful of bushfire risk outside.
We are also on a septic system so please don't flush anything non-organic down the drain.
From Dec 22, 2017 - Jan 07, 2018 the minimum stay is 5 nights.
