Our house is a traditional Mishing (a community of Majuli) style 'Chang Ghar' - bamboo cottage on stilt - built inside a farm. While it is not very far from the center and residential areas, it is also situated midst acres of farm land, allowing relative silence from the everyday hustle-bustle and a beautiful vista. Dedicated to health and wellness, all the facilities in the property are designed in a manner that brings people to closer to the natural elements - sunlight, air, water, and earth.

The space
The farm stay is situated such that one can view the entire farming area from the verandah. It has a huge verandah with a hippie dining space overlooking the farm on the front and the sunset horizon from the backyard. We curate nutritious and sumptuous meals (international recipes with local twists) for supper for guests on special requests. We serve Indian, Southeast Asian, Italian, Mexican meals - you may enquire more about this by messaging us at least two weeks ahead of your arrival. Limited breakfast options are available; however, we do not usually serve lunch or dinner for short-term stays.

Outdoor yoga space, badminton court and workout area are added facilities inside the premises. Angling experience might also be possible depending on the season.

Tabletop games like Cards, Ludo, Chess, Checkers and Scrabble are also made available on request.

There are set barbeque and bonfire spaces right in front of the house overlooking the farm, from where one can also star-gaze.

A cosy corner with a armchair and a footrest is provided for the ones who would prefer relaxing indoor than venturing outdoor.

A day in the farm begins with the soft sunlight streaming into the room, scent of burning wood from the earthen hearth, chirping of various species of birds, and goats bleating, and ends at sundown with the crickets chirping and a silence draping over the whole region.

Other things to note
The bathroom is built outside the cottage, in a transitional style, blending traditional materials and modern fixtures. However, we encourage the use of Indian bidet seat, for health benefits, so there is provision for only a portable commode chair for the aged and the differently abled.

Health and wellness are our prime concerns as a farm promoting ecological methods of farming. Therefore, we encourage the old healthy habits we have lost over time, the lifestyle that kept our grandparents much healthier at 80 than us at 30 and try to practice them ourselves.
