Welcome to the vintage 100 year old original guest Cabin, nestled over the Salish Sea on a private estate with two cabins, beach, camp fire and kayaks for guests to use. Seals, otters, Eagles and deer are your neighbors.
Walk to Turtleback Mountain hiking south trailhead.
The secluded Hot Tub is spontaneously private for either cabin to use, but not at the same time. It has always worked out well for many years of guests enjoyment.... tucked under madrona trees 75 feet away from either cabin.

The space
Work from the cabin WiFi with Internet, Netflix, table or living room Captains bed perched with a view and fireplace.
Or work from the picnic table with a view.... if you can stay on your work without gazing at the sparkling water.

Where you’ll be

Eastsound, Washington, United States

The Turtleback Mountain south trailhead is a short walk up the road for great hiking to magical views over the Salish Sea, Victoria and Vancouver Island, Canadian islands, the Olympic mountains, and wide panorama.

Most of our neighborhood is the ocean of the Salish Sea, Westsound Bay, wild life, trees, and mountains with always changing light and sunsets on the water.

We're a few minutes drive to picturesque Deer Harbor, the marina, whale watching, guided kayaking trips, seasonal boat rentals, and sailing.

I have lived on magnificent Orcas Island for 35 years, enjoying the ocean, trees and mountains. Orcas is famous for its organic food, restaurants and creative people. Our small community has big hearts and great fun. I love the artists, musicians and actors. I enjoy Sailing, travel, photography, drawing, hiking, and my fascinating guests at Cabins On The Point for many years. Life is a joy with wonderful people.

We like to respond to your needs quickly, and enjoy suggesting current restaurants open, favorite places to explore on Orcas and ocean and mountain activities. We are guest friendly, but don't go to your cabin unless you ask us for something. It's your private retreat.
