We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Karin's cabin. Karin was extremely kind and generous, and always willing to help. She even drove us to the train station quite early in the morning after we checked out. The cabin itself is small but well-equipped and very cosy. I particularly enjoyed sleeping in the little loft at the top. When we first arrived at the cabin there was a fire burning in the heater so it was nice and warm, and a little Christmas tree with its lights on - very welcoming after a long journey! Although it is a little far from Amsterdam by bus, if you are predominantly going to the city, it's still quite convenient. All in all I would definitely recommend this place, particularly for a family with one or two kids.

We had a lovely time at Karins B'n'b, was great being around the windmills of Zaanse Schans yet still with easy transport into Amsterdam. Karin was very helpful so we could make the most of our stay. We especially enjoyed our breakfasts and the chance to ride the tandem bicycle that Karin owns.

Karin and her partner were fantastic hosts. If we could stay forever we probably would. The breakfast was a wonderful picnic hamper full of various foods. The space is perfect in all aspects and we honestly have no bad words to say. Its close enough to transport (10min walk). Its close by bike to Zaandam schans (amazing windmill village place). Karin was very helpful with her advice. we loved our stay.

Karin was so thoughtful and helpful! She helped us get to where we needed to go, gave us tips, and even gave us breakfast to go at our check out! Her cabin was very cozy and the bike rental was awesome. It was so fun to bike to Zaans Shans! It was nice to have somewhere to stay outside of the city. Would recommend!

Staying at Karin's place is just great, she can't do enough for you to make sure you have everything you need, from pre paid travel cards to save you money on buying single tickets, to picking me up at the rail station on my arrival - this was especially welcome as i was dead beat from travelling. The cabin is so cool, completely self contained in the back garden with space for 3 to sleep, your own living area and bathroom and a lovely wood chip burning heater to make the place cosy. Breakfast was great too. would recommend
