Interaction with guests

As much or as little as you want! We are an easy going couple that love having guests, but also respect your need for privacy. So if you prefer to be left alone, no problem, but if you would like to socialise with us, we are happy to oblige! We are proud to be Noosa locals and very willing to share our local knowledge.

I work from home so am here much of the time, although I do have various commitments and run cooking classes (on the premises) once or twice a week.

If time permits, I am happy to provide a tour of the local area if desired.

Other things to note

Food is an important aspect of our home, so if you are a foodie you will be well catered for. Each morning you will enjoy a beautifully prepared continental breakfast made from home-grown and local produce, including freshly extracted juice, cafe-quality coffee, a selection of teas as well as home-made goodies. We are happy to cater for various diets, including vegan, gluten-free and paleo.

We are also able to provide a delicious dinner made from local and home-grown produce by request at an additional cost.

Although our check-in time is stated as after 2pm and check-out before 10am, it may be possible to have an earlier check-in or later check-out upon request (subject to availability).

I run my cooking school, Life’s a Feast, from the premises and hold classes 1-2 times per week. As a guest you are invited to attend a class at a discount price.

Gail and her husband Paul are wonderful hosts...we very much felt as we if we were staying with friends for the weekend. They have a beautiful home with a lovely swimming pool. Gail's breakfasts were amazing an array of fresh fruit, smoothies, muesli, muffin or croissant. We also had an evening meal .... and would highly recommend. We arrived at Gail's after traveling for over 26 hours and we were exhausted. Paul and Gail were great and ordered us a take away and even went and collected it. This is my husbands first trip to Australia and he was delighted to see kangaroos in the bush just at the back of their home. We would highly recommend a stay.

Gail and her husband Paul were fabulous hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They opened up their gorgeous home to us as if were part of the family, giving us acess to our own private space including all the ammenties you would expect from a five star apartment (but only half the price!). We particularly enjoyed Gails freshly prepared breakfasts each morning, swimming in the pool whenever we wanted, and we were very grateful to have access to two bicycles which provided us the ability to access the local supermarket, Gympie Terrace and Hastings Street. We would recommend you book into one of Gail's cooking classes if you get the chance. We did and it was great fun and the food was delicious, made using local fresh produce. We would not hesitate in recommending a stay with this gorgeous couple in their beautiful home. Lou and Scott.

My partner and I stayed 1 night at Gail's place in Noosa. It was our first time in the area and Gail went above and beyond to help us out with all the local knowledge. The location was wonderfully close to the main area of town and not far at all from the beach. The space we were provided with was lovely, so much room and very tidy. I felt very at home here. I would 100% recommend staying at Gail's house if you're travelling to Noosa. I will definitely be staying again next time I am in Noosa.

Gail's place was the PERFECT place for my friend and I to take a restful break. Gail was such a great host, going out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. The accommodation was very clean and fresh with everything a hotel would supply including nice towels, minibar etc and we had plenty of space to ourselves. The delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh juice, coffee, muesli and more was very generous and a beautiful way to start the day on the deck looking out to the beautiful garden and national park which the house backs on to. My friend is gluten free which Gail went out of her way to accommodate including baking a delicious gluten free paleo fruit loaf! We found the location really peaceful and just a quick drive to Hastings st but we felt very comfortable relaxing on the deck and by the pool reading our books. Plenty of room on the deck for our yoga sessions too! On our last night we asked Gail if she could prepare one of her special dinners that she offers and it was delicious!! I am really grateful for the experience we had at Gail's and I would 100% recommend. Thank you to Gail and Paul for having us!!
