Nestled amongst the vines just 5-minutes from Mudgee, you'll find the Gate House. This adults only split-level, self-contained space sits beside (and shares a lawn with) the Yeates Wines cellar door, where you'll enjoy a complimentary wine tasting or glass of wine on arrival. Architecturally designed and newly constructed, the Gate House boasts a loft king bedroom, plus a fully equipped downstairs bathroom and kitchen/living area with a coffee machine, cooking facilities, TV, fireplace and BBQ.
The space
Our organically managed vineyard is located just 5-minutes from Mudgee and houses our newly constructed cellar door, as well as two luxuriously self-contained accommodation spaces - one of which is the Gate House.
The Gate House is a stand-alone accommodation space built using rammed earth, corrugated iron and hardwood. Water is collected from three on-site rainwater tanks, and solar energy is used.
The downstairs space boasts high ceilings, double-glazed windows, a slow-combustion fireplace, TV with streaming, a stylishly curated living and dining space, and a fully equipped kitchen (with coffee machine, dishwasher, oven + microwave) and bathroom. Outside there is a dining space and BBQ.
Upstairs there is a private mezzanine/loft bedroom with king size bed and views of the vineyard, as well as a ceiling fan and reverse-cycle air-conditioning.
The accommodation space is very secure with plenty of parking available. However please note, the Gate House shares a lawn with the cellar door.
Here at the Gate House you'll enjoy a truly immersive vine-stay experience. Enjoy a glass of wine with the Yeates family at the cellar door bar, meander through the vines and chat to our vigneron, enjoy a sunset session on the lawn, take a stroll to nearby wineries, and enjoy a daily sleep-in and lazy late checkout (11am).

The Gate House sits within the Yeates Wines Cellar Door Precinct, on-site at our vineyard. The cellar door is open 5 days per week, Thursday to Monday. There is also another one-bedroom accommodation space on site called the Vine Loft. The Gate House is a private space for guests only, with a shared lawn only.
