Our guest suite is fully self-contained with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. It is a new-build facility attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding.

The accommodation offers a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits. Special features include the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and laundry. We provide some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments, however meals are not included.

Other things to note
Spalding is the mid-point of the iconic Heysen Trail for hikers traversing the northern Flinders Ranges to the tip of Fleurieu Peninsula. It is also a junction point with the Mawson Trail for cyclists. Spalding General Store offers essential supplies, take away meals and fuel, is open 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, and 9am to 3pm on Sundays. The deli also operates as a postal agency. The historic Spalding Hotel serves meals Wednesday to Saturday evenings until 8pm with excellent pizzas available on Sunday evenings. They are closed Mondays and Tuesdays, however hotels serving meals are close by in Jamestown, Clare, Crystal Brook and Burra. The newly refurbished public swimming pool is open from October to April. Other attractions include the lawn bowls club, sporting oval with new tennis courts, nearby Spalding golf club, Bundaleer reservoir for trout fishing and the renovated Community Hall and Council Chambers. A CFS emergency fire station is also located in the village. The famous Clare Valley wine region and historic Burra are a short drive away.
