Welcome to our Newcastle Country Home & lifestyle. Relax. Experience nature.

Enjoy a 700 sqft private suite (3 bed/2 bath) in our 3K sqft home. Plus lots of common space.

The land is bountiful:
Wild life
Beautiful views
Farm animals
Gardens
Walking paths
Stars

Freely walk/run/ride the property or famous roads. Bike or horse back ride to Folsom Lake trails, which connects Tahoe to Sacramento.

The foothill weather is wonderful: winter: above the fog & below the snow. Summer breezes.

The space
Come experience country life. More than rooms. A way of life. Tevis welcome.

The fun and relaxation and wild life and more. Stroll around the grounds or local area. Enjoy your morning hot drink looking at nature from one of the covered patios. Outside in the fresh country air or inside, all comfortable.

The large home is separated into 2 parts: your private suite and common space.

We are more than a room with a bed.

We are an experience: Country life.

And who knows what culinary experiencewill come from the kitchen?

Guest access
5 room suite: You have 700 sqft with 3 lovely bedrooms & 2 bathrooms (1 remodeled; other scheduled) with connecting hall to yourself.

One bedroom has private outside access (sliding door) to the covered patio.
The desk provides good working space, if needed.

Each room has it's own key lock for security.
The 2 bathrooms are shared between your 3 bedrooms only.

The gourmet kitchen is wonderful for cooking and conversation. Lots of ideas and options.
Ask Kristina for her Russian & Eastern European cooking recipes and food.

We have spent many hours talking and laughing around the dining room table after a great meal, a snack or glass of wine.

Front room, Family room, and patios are perfect for a small get together or quiet alone spaces.

And the views are wonderful from almost every room.

Other things to note
We welcome Company or Corporate inquiries. Ask us about special considerations.

Come experience Country life. Not just rooms and beds.

We live in the country, with its limitations and benefits.

Here are just a few you may want to consider:
- The nights can be dark and great for viewing stars.
- Dark nights can be exciting and scary if not prepaired. Take a flashlight on your evening walks/rides.
- Moonlight is romantic and can be very bright during a full moon.
- There are woderful plants and trees providing food from the spring to fall.
- Wild blackberries and miners lettuce and wild plumb trees all produce at different times.
- Maybe you can find more wild food. Let us know.
- We have planted many different kinds of fruit trees.
- Looking forward to a garden each spring.
- The farm animals are something we enjoy. you may too.
- Wild animals are many and variied. More on that later.

We are very self sufficient and as a result green:
- We respect nature. We manage nature.
- We are on a well. The water tastes good, few minerals and house is pH neutral with filter.
- The volume of the well water may limit what we can do at one time.
- We are on septic: it is a giant compost tank. Therefore, we have to respect nature with what we put down the toilet and drains.
- More on the well and septic when you arrive.
- We have solar to offset our power usage.
- We do not not normally hunt or kill animals on our property, but there are exceptions.
- We try to manage tree/green growth to minimize fire hazards and maximize our pleasure and use.

Wildlife can get up close.
- Deer are frequent: Great photo opportunities. Skunks, foxes, racoons, bobcats and rattlers are in the area but rarely seen. But we do smell the skunks occasionally... lol

Welcome to country and farm living. Quiet and easy going. With lots to do and see. Close to town but not close in.

There is always something new and exciting if you enjoy nature.

The neighbors are friendly and many keep to themselfs. But more than willing to talk when you meet them or help when you need it. The country attitude is different than in the city or suburbs. Just hard to explain sometimes.

We are close to many small towns, each with unique opportunities for site seeing. Just ask.

There many great wineries and breweries in the area.

Folsom Lake is a short drive, ride or walk. The Folsom Lake trails are renound, pleantful, and extensive. The boat ramp is just one of the amenities at the state park.

The roads are good, but ours is quiet. And quick access to the local towns or freeway if a commute is needed.
