It's rare to find really really "good" young people in this who are hung up on themselves and material things. Matthew is an ole soul, humble, respectful, spiritual and selfless. He's welcome back anytime without question. A young couch surf that I'd actually entrust with my house key. Definite product of good parenting. Regards the boyfriend, I have still in my text messaging and email communication with you on airbnb multiple times typing you that the boyfried was at a sporting event and would be home after 1am. You have this in our airbnb conversation where you replied, "Thank you. Great!!!!" You were very much aware he was returning to the house after 1am even after we spoke but you still locked the interior hotel lock so once he put his key in the door he still couldn't enter the house thus why you had to get up to let him in. Regarding the parking place, it's a 2 car covered parking space which is very large but yet you still parked in the direct center of it leaving no room for another vehicle. If I had not texted, emailed and spoken to you stating he was at a UFC event specifically and said he would return about 1am then I would take responsibility for this but airbnb and you can verify all of our conversation in the airbnb conversation log. Again, sorry you felt uncomfortable but as you stated, You should have asked in advance who all would be in the home during your stay but you didn't and admitted you didn't ask that question and my response to you was I did not lease you an entire 3 bedroom house for only $22. You knew he was returning to the house and still intentionally locked him out anyway which was pretty inconsiderate and rude. I gave you a positive review because you are young and sweet but I don't think other hosts would have appreciated you locking one of the host out of their house in the middle of the night. Again, airbnb can verify you were told and knew this hours in advance. Kindly.
