Location

Wernersville, Pennsylvania, United States

Historic South Mountain was home to several resorts in the late 1800s/early 1900s. Travelers came by train for the fresh mountain air and spring water. It was a place of healing and restoration. The area still offers serene views and the peaceful surroundings that brought those early visitors. Blue Marsh Lake offers swimming, boating, and trails. Local shops in West Reading and Adamstown offer unique shopping. There are a variety of restaurants, golf courses, and other activities nearby.
