Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Find peace and quiet at our large family property. Hidden close to the township of Adaminaby, in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, is our surprising and unique accommodation - two pyramids set in our 40+ acres of pristine alpine Australian bushlands and flowering wildflower style gardens, all here for you to discover on your retreat from the city. A peaceful retreat, hand built by our grandparents in the 90's, located close to Cooma and a short drive from Canberra Airport. Privacy and peace await you!

The space
Built from scratch by our grandparents, this property is truly unique and special, you won't find pyramids set in the Australian bush land anywhere else! Two self-contained pyramids rest within established gardens overlooking undeveloped Australian bush. Surrounded by tranquility, use the pyramids as a base to explore the surrounding ski fields, or use your holiday to completely relax away from it all. From the hand-cut slate tiles, to the pink granite surrounding the property, there is so much to discover at 'Rocky Corner'. Please note there is mobile phone reception predominantly on the Telstra network, but there is no WIFI.

Guest access
The pyramids are fully self-contained buildings that sit within our larger property, which is called 'Rocky Corner'. Our house is a little further up the hill, so you'll have privacy if you wish so. You'll have your own parking at the front of the pyramid, and there is plenty of space to park further vehicles as required. The road to our property is unsealed and is suitable for normal vehicles (2WD) to travel on.
Please note: The Snowy Mountains is a rural area. There is A LOT of wildlife around all the time....please be aware if you choose to drive in the dawn or dusk this increases your risk of hitting wildlife, so please do not speed or take unnecessary risks travelling to visit our property. If you hit an animal, please call the local council who can direct you what to do.

Other things to note
There is a kitchenette equipped with essential kitchen items and small bar fridge for your use. There are gas cooking facilities, as well as salt, pepper and olive oil for cooking. There is a small bathroom with a toilet and a shower contained within the pyramid. There is one queen size bed and two single beds in an open plan space within the pyramid with linen provided. There is a heater in the pyramid. We provide towels and are happy to recommend places to go or things to see. We recommend two adults and two children to share the space most comfortably.

I have used AirBnB all over the world, and I have met some amazing people and had beautiful experiences. I love meeting new people and I've found that staying with locals really makes a huge difference when traveling, whether it's the secret watering hole down the street or knowledge of what's on in the area. I'm an AirBnb host too, with a property where you can stay in pyramids on our family property in the Snowy Mountains, NSW, if you're ever in the area!
