Great stay at Gary and Merril's place. Spacious and quiet. Gary was very solicitous about coordinating our arrival, and then kindly shared his astronomical knowledge. Great breakfast, too.

Such a perfect stay, being able to disconnect! Gary was so generous in sharing his knowledge about astronomy and his enthusiasm in wanting to show the best of what the sky had to offer. And Merril's gourmet breakfast kept us going for hours! We had some great life chats with Merril and Gary that really topped it off!

We had a wonderful time as guests at Gary and Merril's house. They are wonderful hosts and beautiful people too. Merril catered for our food requirements and the food was a treat. I would recommend a stay.

We had a wonderful time at Skywatch Observatory over the labour day long weekend. Gary and Merril are wonderful hosts and the accomodation and location are brilliant. We couldn't recommend them more. (P.S the cooked breakfasts are to die for)

Having access to Gary, his knowledge and his observatory/telescope is fantastic. We had cloudy nights but thankfully Gary offerred to wake up at 4am so we could get a clear look at the stars through his telescope. It was well worth the effort.

Excellent little get away from Sydney, worth the drive! Gary and Merril are excellent hosts, from the lovely home cooked breakfast using fresh ingredients to the very informative star-gazing experience. Coonabarabran was a lovely little town. A trip to Siding Spring Observatory is a must!. We went during the new moon and had the most amazing view of the sky with just our eyes. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Gary And Merril User ProfileGary And Merril is a superhost.

Living is a process of letting go. Merril and I understand the many journeys we take to find purpose in our existence are but one part of the overall journey through lives experience. Merril is an Artist/Healer and Gary is a Scientist/Inventor and we are both experienced massage practitioners.

At Skywatch we encourage our guests to share with us if that is their desire, or to do their own thing in a comfortable and private space.

We are more than happy to share our local knowledge and point you in the right direction!
