Our Cultus Lake Cottage is a great family escape situated in the heart of Cultus Lake. We are walking distance to Cultus Lake Water Slides, Cultus Lake Golf Club, Tap Ins, Main Beach, restaurants, Cultus Lake Adventure Park, Marina with rentals and much much more.
Our open concept home offers 2 living spaces on the main floor, kitchen, laundry, bedroom with queen bed & ensuite. Upstairs is three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 ensuites) Parking for 3 vehicles

NO Smoking - NO Exceptions our property AND Cultus Lake Park are non-smoking please no smoking in or outside our cottage. No smoking includes vaping, cigarettes, cigars and marijuana etc.

Our home is cozy, comfortable and perfectly situated so you can enjoy some time away from home. A great location! A short 2 minute walk to main beach where there are large spaces for group gatherings, a playground, docks and beautiful Cultus Lake. Our home has spacious rooms to give you ample opportunity to spread out after a long day at the beach. Come back and enjoy games with your family, bbq on the back patio or visiting on the front porch. Our home is family friendly and is outfitted with a playpen, games and plastic dishes for children.
Our cottage is not suitable for events or parties (no exceptions unless previously arranged) Failure to follow this rule will result in being asked to vacate the property with no refund available. Booking guest must be minimum of 24 years old.
Our cottage has beds for 12 (8adults max). Please include children of all ages in your count. Babies 2 and under don't count in numbers but we like to be aware of how many people are coming.
NO ANIMALS - NO EXCEPTIONS. Failure to follow this rule will result in being asked to vacate the property.
Security cameras are recording front, back and side yards. Footage may be used for claim purposes and may be shared with Airbnb.
We do not have any grass. Our front and back yards are concrete and wood deck. The park is a 2 min walk away as well as the elementary school just up the road for playing field games.
Check in is at 4pm and check out is 11am. Please do not show up early or check out late as we need time to clean the cottage for the next guest.
Quiet time in Cultus Lake is 10pm. We ask that guests go inside the cottage at 10pm as Cultus Lake has a quiet time bylaw and we want to ensure we respect our neighbours and our community. Failure to do so will result in being asked to vacate the property.
We have parking passes for 3 vehicles and space in front of our cottage for 3 vehicles. We recommend not coming with more than 3 vehicles. Parking can be extremely hard to find. Please do not ask our neighbours if you can park in front of their homes. All vehicles must be off the street or risk being towed at your own expense. There is an additional charge for parking more than 3 vehicles.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook during your stay. Please note the cabinets are paint over lacquer and as a result have a slightly tacky feel to them. They are wiped down and cleaned regularly.
Dishwasher and soap provided. Please ensure the kitchen is clean with all dishes and pots clean and away before you leave.
Please do not plug in or unplug anything from the tv's.
Food and condiments are not provided (salt and pepper are) but you are welcome to use anything left in the refrigerator.
Hand Soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided. Please do not take them with you as they are stocked to be used by multiple guests.
We have added air conditioning to the three upper bedrooms. The intention is to take the edge off and make sleeping at night more enjoyable. Ensure you close the windows and blinds when leaving for the lake on a hot day to help control the temperature. Leave the bedroom doors open to help keep the main floor cool. Warm air rises so the ceiling fans in the bedrooms will push the cool air and drop into the main living space to take the edge off. Please note our cottage is not set up to be cold but simply to be comfortable.
Washer and dryer available for use. Laundry detergent is provided.
Toilet paper is provided. We ensure you have enough for your stay but please do not take the stock.
Bath towels are provided but are for your use inside the cottage. **Please bring your own beach towels for taking down to the beach. (We do stock some beach towels if needed but we don’t have time to launder them between rentals so if you borrow the beach towels please ensure they are washed, dried and returned to the bottom shelf in the laundry room.)
The BBQ is available for use but please ensure you clean up your mess when done. Foil is provided as a simple way to make clean up easier. Simply lay foil in the bbq before placing your items on the grates for quick and easy clean up. BBQ tools are in the cupboard on the back side of the island. Please turn the gas off at the house and leave the bbq on for a few minutes to ensure the gas lines have cleared before disconnecting the gas from the house. Please leave the bbq how you would like to find it. If the bbq is not clean there will be a $50 cleaning charge.
Garbage day is Monday each and every week. Should you be with us on a Sunday (either checking out or staying over) we ask that you please take the compost & recycling out each week and garbage alternate weeks prior to leaving. Please see the binder on the entrance table for confirmation of placing out 2 bins or 3 bins. Should you be unable to do so please let us know and we are happy to come and take care of it.
The cottage is set up with a smart water meter to ensure we mitigate damage in a plumbing emergency. Should an abnormal amount of water be used at an abnormal time of day the water will automatically be turned off. We are available to turn it back on from 10pm-7am daily. If four showers are going at 2am, for example, the smart water meter will turn off the water on the assumption a pipe has burst.

You are able to access the entire home and out door space for the duration of your stay.
Other things to note
Parking: Please please please ensure that you only park in front of our home. If vehicles are large and don’t fit in our yard please use the lots at the top of the street underneath the trees. Anyone parking on the street or in front of the neighbors homes could be towed at your expense.
