Great location with everything working well despite a hiccup with the internet which was eventually solved by putting Jill's Data SIM into one of our phones. Accom just off main Square (Place) with easy street parking (also Public Pay parking nearby) and one street from Dordogne River. Tourist Bureau one block away. Saturday morning market in Place & surrounding streets great for wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables straight off the farms. Locals wonderful. Jill (host) very helpful and her friend Francoise who checks you in (lives next door) is fantastic despite language barrier. In fact Francoise picked us up from the local train station for €5 and then drove us all around and even to Bergerac to fix the Internet which we had to have for work. Plenty of space in this apartment with living area downstairs where full bathroom with shower is. Up the stairs is another bathroom (fully carpeted) with a bath and shower hose (no shower door or curtain around bath tho), a lovely big bedroom facing the little outdoor private courtyard and at the front another lounge room. Upstairs to the 3rd level you have another big bedroom (more rustic) overlooking the courtyard, another bedroom at the front with 2 single beds and this level is serviced by a nice toilet area with sink. Having a washing machine (in the shed outside), though small, did a great wash. Also in this shed is where you turn on the Hot Water System so don't forget when you arrive! We had major road works happening directly outside our door during our two weeks here as the local bodies tore up the road to lay new pipes. This did create a bit of noise and dust during the day but did not bother us because at night the street was so quiet with no car access!! Can't imagine it will be long before they finish the works as they were progressing well whilst we were there. All in all a wonderful stay.

Nice apartment with loads of space. Pretty with lots of character. Nice big bedrooms. Clean and well equipped. Washing machine and clothes drying rack. Nice outdoor courtyard with table and chairs. Location is quiet and residential. Close to town centre but not much happening there. Good enough location if you want to access other towns in the region. Supermarket walking distance. River walking distance. Town is falling to bits quite literally but it it still has some charm and we loved the markets. Wifi didn't work but this had apparently not happened before and both Jill and her local contact Christine were really helpful in trying to get it fixed. In the end we fixed it ourselves as it needed a new cable. A shame as we really needed wifi but I guess one of those things that happens at times. I'm sure The host will rectify the problem for future guests. Christine was really helpful checking us in. Overall we had a nice stay.

Lovely property beautifully decorated and in a lovely little charming village. There was lots of space as the house was spread over three floors and was great for two couples. The host was friendly and very helpful and was there to meet us with the keys. The village was close to many attractions and there is also a train station if you prefer not to use your car.

Great stay, nice and cosy house. Very quiet, beautiful and calm village. Too quiet sometimes. Few shops and nice restaurants around due to summer vacation. Great sites nearby, recommend chateau Bridoire and canoe the Dordogne with kids. Thanks

The house has a lot of character and the photos are accurate. The courtyard is ok but not a pleasant as the interior. Jill was excellent with communication and the manager of the property was very pleasant welcoming us. The town clearly has a lot of history but it is not a pristine historical site and therefore fewer tourists and restaurants but as August some were closed for the holidays. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Jill's GEM truly is a gem, in a gorgeous town. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. Jill was extremely accommodating with slight changes in our travel plans and arrival. We did not meet but she was always available to reach out to when needed. The accomodation was really lovely, clean and even better than described. We will definitely try and book again when visiting family in the area.
