Private and quiet cabin nestled beside a river. This cabin is suited for relaxing and a perfect base to explore the Chilcotin region and Tatlayoko Valley and surrounds. This is a " glamping " experience . There is cold running water and limited solar power. There is a wood stove for heat and a propane stove for cooking. The outhouse is "rustic" , as in outdoor, pit toilet ( see photos). There is NO wifi or cell service at cabin . There is no cell service west of Williams Lake.

The space
Single room open plan cabin with twin beds. Full kitchen facilities and bedding supplied. Private and quiet location.

Other things to note
This is a working farm. There is a guardian farm dog that does patrol a couple times a day to keep predators away. Leave her alone to work. She is not a pet or a threat. Keep all gates as you found them. My parents run an Art Gallery down the road. Feel free to visit but respect Social Distancing please.

There is no cell service on Hwy 20 . Phone from Tatla Lake if needed. There is a card pay phone at the end of Tatlayoko Valley if you get lost.Perfect place for a digital detox!
Limited services in the valley. I recommend you bring whatever food/drink you need for your stay. I have eggs and fresh vegetable for sale in season. There is a store and restaurant in Tatla. Small cafe in valley that need advance notice. Gas up in Redstone, Tatla or Nimpo before arriving so you can so some exploring without worrying about running out of gas!

The cabin has a guest comments and information book. Please read for additional instructions and leave a comment if you like. Thank you.

I am very happy to be back in the community where I was born. I spent 30 years travelling and living overseas. I had many adventures while I was away but am happy to be back home - right where I started. I always wanted to have a guest house and love being able to share this wonderful environment with visitors. During your stay
I live just down the road about a 5 minute drive at 7141 Tatlayoko Road, if guests need anything during their stay. I try to pop down once during your stay if I can but usually just leave guests have their space.
