Light filled, well kept and equipped, the cottage opens to a secluded private pool, hot tub and generous outdoor space - ideal for couples, families and pets.

Eliza’s is a three bedroom vineyard cottage set within an acre and a half of private garden on our Marlborough estate.
With its own swimming pool and views across vineyards to the ranges, it is one of the region’s hidden gems - elegant, private, relaxing and grounding.
Every room looks out to a big, open rural landscape with rows of vines, surrounding ranges, dramatic Marlborough sunsets and properly dark, star filled night skies.
The open plan kitchen, dining and living areas open directly to the terrace, BBQ, pool and garden. It's an easy place to cook, gather and spend time but just minutes from Blenheim’s cafés, tasting rooms and amenities.
Recognised by the NZ Gardens Trust as a Garden of National Significance, the grounds are yours to wander during your stay - something rarely offered privately.
Breakfast provisions are generous and largely sourced from the farm - free range eggs, fruit, vegetables and nuts. Freshly baked walnut bread, homemade jams and a chilled bottle of award winning wine from our vineyard await your arrival.

The house is in a peaceful rural neighbourhood, but only a 5-minute drive from Central Blenheim and all its amenities. The area is surrounded by superb wineries.
The coolest pub in Marlborough is a mere stroll away. It serves excellent Japanese food and craft beers including their own, made on site.

Where I went to school: A nomadic childhood - too many to list
My work: Gardener and host.
I'm the owner of the vineyard that surrounds Eliza's and live in the neighbouring homestead, Welton House. We grow Sauvignon Blanc grapes for Wither Hills and Pernod Ricard.
One of my greatest passions is gardening. Eliza’s garden is a decade long restoration project and is finally beginning to reach a stage where I can start to see my vision. Next door my personal garden, Welton House, is a NZ Gardens Trust garden of national significance and features in the annual Garden Marlborough festival in November.
