Location

Kyparissia, Greece

In the village Rodhia, Kyparissia of Messinia, at Peloponnese,
in the center of a real Greek agricultural “Paradise”
is located the “Greek Pony Farm”. The family tradition of four generations is present everywhere in the olive groves
and the lands of the farm.

Our Farm was named “Greek Pony Farm” for a very special reason: the unique herd of ponies that live free and grow up within our lands and olive groves!

Our ponies are the greatest number of animals that live at our farm deer, sheep, horses who live and contribute to our small ecosystem.
They are also vital for the life and cultivation of trees
in an original, creative way perhaps unique in the world.

For the family, the Farm is a way of life.
And this is obvious in every drop of the organic extra virgin olive oil, on each selected olive, on each fruit that bears the signature “Greek Pony Farm” award winning products!

The “Greek Pony Farm” and its products easily exceed the relevant criteria and provide a certification of organic farming, as well as a Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) certification that verifies the uniqueness of the area where these products belong…

Our olive oil is of a very high quality and it is produced through sustainable process.

Interesting things to see!

The restored old watermill, a monument to be preserved in Mylos, just 1.5 km from Kyparissia, on the way to the villages of mountainous Trifylia.

The village of Vryses, built amphitheatrically. Near the village are the springs of Kefalari with abundant running water and plane trees.

The monastery of Panagia Katsimikados, dedicated to the Genesis of the Virgin, 7.5 km Ε from Kyparissia. It offers a wonderful view of the olive groves of the area and the sea.

The village of Mouriatada, with stone houses. Near the village is the archeological site of Amphigeneia.

The citadel of Peristeria, 9.5 km AA from Kyparissia. According to Spyridon Marinatos, it was the most important center of the Pre-Mycenaean and Mycenaean Periods in the region. Three large vaulted tombs were excavated here by Marinato and Corre. The restored vaulted tomb I is one of the largest Mycenaean tombs in Greece.
From the archeological site of Peristeria begins a path that leads to the "Gorge with the stalactites", to the source of the area and to the river Arkadikos.
