Cute little tucked away mid-terrace 1840s cottage. Dovecote views, flagstones, pretty sgarden, patio & fire pit.

Ideal location - just off Bruton High St yet quiet with countryside on your doorstep for lush walks. Pubs, eateries, late shop, all a few mins, Hauser & Wirth 15 mins walk.

3 double bedrooms with unusual layouts/restrictions, so check descriptions carefully! Can squeeze in up to 7! eg, low ceiling attic - 3 kids/agile adults! + 2 x couples in the rooms below + a couple

The space
Sitting/dining room (3.4 x 4.8m) & small galley kitchen leading to the shower room/loo on the ground floor at the back.

*Even though the cottage can sleep a number of people, you need to be the kind of group who are happy being on top of each other in a small space!*

**The original cottage stairs are very steep & painted, so always hold the handrail!**

Master bedroom - largest double bed, clothes rail, hair drier.

Tiny box room (next door to master) - comfy, thick double mattress on the floor. Space-saving stairs lead up from this bedroom through the open hatch to the mezzanine/attic room (the rooms are adjoining, so limited privacy).

Mezzanine/attic room - low ceiling, so best for kids over toddler age or agile adults (because of the stepladder too) - comfy thick double mattress & single mattress, both on the floor.

Garden studio (occasional bedroom) - available on request - double bed. Most guests would probably only want to use it in the summer - although it has a heater & good insulation so it warms up quickly. As it has no plumbing, the walk up the terraced garden to the bathroom is subject to the prevailing weather! It's also used for storage, so be prepared to share with garden tools & storage items!

There a big comfy sofa in the sitting room that could also be used as a bed if really needed eg if the very steep original cottage stairs are too much for anyone.

The largely re-wilded garden is long, terraced & narrow, with two spots to hang out - the patio (table, chairs, parasol, full summer sun til mid afternoon ) & by the garden studio (fire pit, full summer sun from mid afternoon til 6ish).
