Camp spots on the 260 acre farm are a unique way to accommodate semi self sufficient campers. Some spots require 4-wheel drive. If you have a 2-wd or prefer some facilities choose one of five sites: BLUE WREN, GREY FANTAIL, WILLY WAGTAIL, KOOKABURRA or BUTCER BIRD all walking distance from the toilet block and water taps.
4wd self sufficient campers have the choice lovely spots like ECHIDNA, WEDGE TAIL EAGLE, CARNABY COCKATOO and SCARLET ROBIN away from others with many acres of bush around.

The space
BLUE WREN Camp Site is a natural York gum treed area with natural grass and soft soil near the greater farm yard area. Specially chosen as a very pleasant camp site, but also for easy 2wd access. The site is between trees but not directly under them. Toilets and drinking water close by. Power available as an extra option for $10 per night. Relax by the fire place gazing at the amazing milky way in pristine clear skies. Make brekky in the beautiful morning sun. Hear all the parrots and other birds. Relax on your camping chair. From here you can easily access all the walking routes. The 260 acre farm has open parkland areas, vineyards, cropping, sheep grazing often with lambs, dense natural bush, pine forrest, a Tagasate plantation, York gum, Manna gum and Banksia tree natural forrest and wild flowers proliferate in season. The main farmhouse camp area has a lovely variety of trees especially huge gum trees. Running routes along the gravel roads in three directions are favourites with runners, bikers and walkers alike.

Guest access
You are free to walk everywhere indicated on the guide available at your camp site.
No driving around is allowed other than for access to your site, which means to and from the main road or back to the main toilet block for further away 4wd sites.
Bush sites now have new flushing toilets at walking distance. Please drive slowly, stay on the roads and consider other guests, animals and damage to the road and paddocks. Driving outside farm road damages the environment and is prohibited and illegal.
The no go areas are simple: no person inside crop areas, inside vinyards, inside sheds, residences. Please refrain from touching or interfering with farm implements or equipment. You are responsible for your group and especially for children at all times.

Other things to note
Every site has at least the following available:
Fire place, fire shovel, grid or plate for roasting meat or sandwiches on the fire, large tree stumps to sit on, black rubbish bin for convenience but you must remove all rubbish and leave no trace.
Fire wood in bags or crates are available on farm for $8 per crate or large log. Gathering wood or rocks is strictly forbidden and regarded as stealing. We also remove no wood, rocks or fallen trees from certain bush areas to try keep it 100% natural.
You please need to take back all that you bring including rubbish and leave the bin empty and the site clean. You must be fully self sufficient. On farm toilets are made available free of charge but it not a right. Toilets are cleaned and sanitized and you MUST leave it like that after use. You need to bring all your own sanitizer and toileteries and remove them after use.
Be sure to bring some cash for on-farm supplies like fire wood, table grapes, olives, lemons or honey in season and for first aid needs or if you run out of toilet paper. Power is available at $10 per night per camping vehicle or tent.
Remember to do a check list of your needs to be self sufficient. If you do forget or miss something the nearby town of Moora is only a 20 minute drive away and has 2 supermarkets and most normal shops.
There is a first aid kit in the farm house as well as a small one in the guest house.
Here follows a help list of just some items often overlooked by campers and convenient to have to make your time more enjoyable:
matches fire lighters torch, sanitizer, soap, toilet paper, hand towel, spices salt pepper milk bbq tools, a large and a small tarps, camp chairs camp table black bin bags buckets for water, basin for dishes toilet paper warm clothes, warm sleeping gear (nights can be cold), camp light, beanie, carpet or mat to wipe feet, insect repellent, binoculars, camera
Only Telstra phones work in this area as in most of the country areas
We hope all this will help a bit to make your stay even better

Jabez farm near Moora, is in the centre of 6 different towns and road houses. Many roads converge to three that leads to the farm from different directions. The farm is blessed with lovely clear underground water. Lots of good fresh water places draw birds: 5 bird baths and 2 fish ponds in the gardens, several drinking troughs all over the farm and lots of trees, flowers and bush. This makes it a magnet for birds and other natural wild life. More than 45 bird species are seen regularly. We often see bobtail goannas, lizards, echidnas, kangaroos, foxes, rabbits and emus on or around the farm. Every camp site is named after some frequently occurring bird or animal in that area.

During your stay
Farmers and other guests are normally friendly but please respect their privacy and never interfere with other camp spots. They will readily interact, assist or help out when they can. There are almost always some people within easy reach in case of need for help or emergency either on our farm, the guest house or the neighbouring farms.
BLUE WREN site1 & 2 and GREY FANTAIL site 1 & 2 are close enough together for two groups to book together so that the two groups can interact but also be separate as needed.
