A charming self-contained cottage on a quiet farm, located one mile from the market town of Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds. An ideal place to touch base if you are looking to escape to the countryside and explore what this picturesque area has to offer.

Chipping Norton has great transport links with regular bus services to Woodstock, Oxford, Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon. There are train stations in two nearby villages, Kingham and Charlbury, both with direct train links to London.

The space
The cottage enjoys an idyllic plot on a small family farm, with its own parking and lockbox for self check-ins.
This newly renovated self-contained annexe opens into the sweet cosy bedroom, tastefully decorated with a double bed, bedside tables, and a storage unit with four baskets. Coming off the bedroom is the en-suite shower room. Containing an overhead waterfall shower, small wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. Eco-friendly shampoo and body wash are provided.
Coming off the bedroom is a lovely bright room designed to feel homely and welcoming, that combines the living room and kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen area has an electric oven, four ring hob, an under-counter fridge, washing machine, toaster and kettle with tea, coffee and sugar ready. There is a small dining/workspace area- perfect for two people. The living area has a small television with Freeview, a comfortable corner sofa for relaxing and plenty of house plants!
The cottage features a lovely sunny grassy garden area at the front of the property, and also a covered porch area with a table and chairs. There is driveway parking that will fit two cars.
Happy to discuss options for both long and short term stays if you need a place while working away or between house sales please do get in touch.

A great location for visiting if you are looking to attend The Big Feastival, Wilderness, Cornbury, or Cheltenham Horse Racing Festivals. Some other local attractions include visits to the Daylesford estate, Soho Farmhouse, Blenheim Palace, Sudeley Castle, Broadway Tower, Batsford Arboretum, Chastleton House and Broughton Castle to name a few!
Visit the megalithic marvels of the Rollright Stones, a two-minute car journey from the cottage, or If you are into walking, put a spring in your step with a 2.5-mile country walk to visit this local attraction!
The Cotswolds is home to some of the UK's most picturesque villages, including Bourton on the Water, The Slaughters, Bibury, Burford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Woodstock, Oxford, Cheltenham, Stow on the Wold and Broadway.
The Cotswolds is a rural location, and although there are good transport links it is recommended that you have a car.

I have put not suitable for children, however, if you have your own travel cot for small infants or are a parent and child happy to share a bed then this is okay.

Hi I’m Katie, my mum and I have recently renovated a small cottage into a cosy cotswold retreat on the farm where we live! I like the outdoors, dog walking, sudoku, music festivals and a glass of wine on quiet nights in with friends. Have always lived in this area so happy to recommend places to eat and things to do!

During your stay
I live just opposite the cottage, so I am available most evenings, or contactable if there are any issues. Happy to recommend local places to eat and visit.
